Lion cubs have a 70% mortality rate. It broke my heart to read at the end of the video that one of the cubs died of natural causes, but that is the reality of being a lion. The chances of one of those cubs growing to maturity and mating is very slim; that's why seeing one is so incredible. At one time, a white lion did grow and mate to perpetuate it's bloodline to this time, and it took TWO lions with the recessive gene to create the cubs we saw in this video. Incredible!
So so so beautiful God is truly amazing to have created all of the beautiful animals we are able to see, study, keep safe from poachers , and just to enjoy. Life is truly a blessing from God
Sadly, their white coloration makes their future very bleak. It's a liability when hunting as they don't have the camouflage to blend in with their natural surroundings. When your prey can easily spot you, you lose your ability to creep close to them, which is a critical part of hunting for lions in the wild.
I've never been taken by white lions, the tawny colored ones are so beautiful. Of course, the white ones are lovely, but idk, I just like the tan ones the same.
I would love to see the male of this pride... I mean a male that controls such a huge area needed for 40+ lions and keep controlling it over many years must be atleast as astonishing...
I love lions but there will be a time when ones self will ask are they that important ones there are few ones self will no how important they are.But until that time comes we should do our best to help these animals thrive.
Hyenas, leopards, even another lion, disease, violence within the pride, all these things and more contribute to the 70% mortality rate that a lion cub faces.
The majority of Lion cubs die. I think between 70%-80% of Lions die before they reach their second year. A Wildebeest calf has a better chance of survival than a Lion cub. Its nature's way of controlling their numbers and maintaining a balance.
There are 2 kind of dogs endangers and rare in albania the bad thing is that they are not documented end if they die they will be lost forever znd only a few people will know they ever existed :(
so if the mother decided to attack them would they have to shoot the lion? why are they in an open vehicle like that? I know nothing happened, they had good intentions, they took all the right precautions blah blah blah but at the end of the day they're wild and can be unpredictable, seems dumb to get that close unless you're willing to die before killing it's mother since it's so rare
sdghv lvhgngv because lions are stupid, and they don't see the people in the car just the people so it's safe to be in an open top car as long as you don't stand up or make loud noises, then the lions see you

such remarkable creatures
5:27 When they actually show the freaking lion.
You see? They don't care about his skin's colour. Why is it so important to so many of us humans?
Francesco Brosolo the mother kills the white lions
Jack Foran What? Were did you read that? It's a bullshit. Wild lions never kills their offspring.
Still regardless of their skin colours
Lionesses like darker lions.
Dark-maned
What a beautiful sight
Amazing Mother Nature :)
What an amazing video! Wow!
Seriously great stuff 🐾👏👏
Beautiful
Any updates on how they're doing?
That is beautiful!
Yes now
LIIOOOON
I love lions but there will be a time when ones self will ask are they that important ones there are few ones self will no how important they are.But until that time comes we should do our best to help these animals thrive.
Beautiful!
There are more....in the Kambula Pride just outside of Kruger.
The color of this pride is light.
Casper??
Everyone is saying don't attack or capture this one lion. But they should capture any Lions.
I wonder what exactly was this "natural death"
A fever, a stampede, another lion, a wound, anything
aleix1203 That wasn't the question. I asked what exactly caused the natural death.
***** How you reply to other people is important, kids. Learn from RAF's mistakes.

My best guess is a predator got it. They're basicly glowing in the savannah. Easy targets.
i hope "the dentist" didnt saw this
Stealing them from their mother & pride to live in a cage! Greed-money-zoos ITS WRONG AND HEARTBREAKING
Beautiful. Thank you for sharing.
Este grupo de leões tem um filhote branco gostei muito
And? Any update?
We need some body guards for the lion
At least some ppl that knows the lion well to protect it
Hola buenos dias. Quiciera tener la oportunidad de pertenecer al equipo de camara de natgeo siempre lo e soñado y a sido mi pasion. Gracias por leerlo
Omg such a cute video till the end where on of them dies

Why would someone dislike this video ? Lol
Poachers
One great big SO, it's a lion with no pigment big f'ing deal.
mcgaugh57 it's rare unlike you lmao they are not albino by the way which is even rarer
Correction the have pigment but it is reduced from being luesistic
unrelated but James Suter is hot
sad life that i cant work with this ppl, i love what they do : ( all my support!
When the children cry...
These white cubs are adopted. :D
I feel bad for it because it can’t blend in in the wild, hunt, and poachers will probably hunt for it
Humans leave the animals alone. We have grown to be a grotesque race of humans filled with greed and superiority. Leave these animals alone.
To the battle, Leo, past the savannah-ahh...With every enemy you face, you grow ever stronger!~...
LION ORDER!!!
*is so happy they found white lions*
*finds out one of them died*
D: x999
Can s1 explain me why people drive an open vehicle like this in the wild? isn’t it dangerous?
Gorgeous creatures, hottt photographer!
Very nice.
Less talk more lions. Suggestion for next video. Thanks
awww its sooo cuuute people stop killing lions they will go extinct and humans aren,t gonna go extinct leave them alone!
