Yes, the bas is really nice with this combo
A really sensible compromise. If you're playing in a band with a bass guitarist then you wouldn't really need the bass pedals and the case becomes a protective armour to protect the inner workings from the rigours of being carted from one venue to another.
However I feel a really important part of the beauty and magic of the Hammond B3 is the beautiful & unique original wooden cabinet, designed many years ago and in which it was born together with the bench and bass pedals.
It's instantly recognisable and adds a feast for the eyes to the feast for the ears.👂👂
It makes the mouth drool.🤤
Ah Yes! The original Hammond cabinets are a work of art in my opinion so I do agree you! However, if someone needs to move from place to place, and only has a medium size SUV or mini van, this WILL fit! Then of course there may also be someone with a beautiful B3 already and prefers not to move it around due to weight and other protective considerations. Then.....I might also suggest that one could buy a MINT B3 AND this Ultimate Road Warrior and perhaps use the same Leslie! Then they could call us and say, "I'll take one B3 for here, and one to GO!" Also, this is priced to sell!
