Depends entirely on what role you're playing - when capping I use Reach and Egocentric, when chasing I use Safety Third + Potential Energy, when fragging I use Safety Third + Quick Draw. There are many combos that work. :)
Answering a few questions (reply isn't working for me atm, not sure why):
-I record with Dxtory - it's the best recording program out there imo.
-StoneHenge isn't available on pub servers atm, I think it will be in the new patch.
-Jug with Spinfusor just isn't consistent enough in comp compared to LMG I'd say.
-Song is 'I'm God' by Clam's Casino - it says this on the video and in the desc though!

Playing as Heavy or Light Defense in almost every match for more than 350 hours and 1000 games I'm still just baffled by your level of skill. Really well done you're probably the best that defense has to offer in Europe :D

Yes, it actually changes the game quite a bit. Ive even had a situation where I killed our teams flag carrier by dropping an inventory station on his head in a standoff. :]

Have you ever seen a jugg use the spinfusor in competitive games, and be successful?
I'm sorry, I think my posts have come across in a way that I did not intend. It's not pertaining to being skilled with X or Y and I was not trying to be offensive. To answer your question I did play some competitive ladders in my younger years for q1/q2/q3 and various mods, so no, aiming is not an issue. At this point, I just don't think it was wise (product-standpoint) to make bullet weapons so prevalent. I'd also add that the current game population demonstrates this to some extent.

At no point did I claim autos weren't dominant, I said they aren't as dominant in comp T:A as some people would like you to believe. The best Tribes players - be it from T1, T2, T:V or T:A - have always been proficient with all weapons. Only being good at midairs would be shit, just the same as only being good at using autos would be shit.
i think it is only in custom games you can play that map... but im not sure
yeah, i don't think we'll ever get a demo system :(. i use dxtory to record.

I feel it's too susceptible to being out of position for whatever reason (fragging, avoiding damage etc), meaning that for a certain percentage of a game you will not even get a chance to use it. I'd like to see them rework Rage in some way to buff chasing a bit more, maybe making it so that you can't grab flags off the stand with it, but so that you get the buff every time your flag is grabbed no matter where you are.
@mirieth how do you get into comp tribes? ive played competitive tf2 for 2 years and im getting a sudden interest in this game again

Yay EU! I don't play comp or anything, but I recognize most of those people in the vid from pubs, mostly from deathcams, of course. Including certain fellow on the flagstand in Ranger setup with a superheavy :/

Not sure if it eat up my reply but anyway, my point is: personal skill is irrelevant for this argument. You saying "I'm proficient with every gun" doesn't disprove that you had an smg/ar/lmg in every class.

I particularly enjoyed the parts where you have an auto as primary or secondary. You fraps nade tossing, a few blues ma and you call it proof that autos are not dominant. k.
And at what point did I claim to not use autos? As I said in my reply, you need to be able to use every weapon to compete. In T:A you only get two weapons so the most balanced loadout will always contain a short-medium range and a medium-long range weapon in almost every scenario. Therefore you go with thumper/spinfusor/nade launcher + ar/lar/nj5. I don't really see that you have any kind of point other than some massive distaste for autos, perhaps you just can't aim?
2:30 shows how retarded melee hits were designed, damaging frames come after the attack.
i prefer the dueling spinfusor personally, others like the crossbow :)
I remember once going over 300 km/h and then hitting a rock and going up in the air at 3200+ km/h xD
Needless to say,I got a shit ton of achievements,the only shame being that I didn`t record that moment(I couldn`t see anybody because of the hight).Got all the way until achievement 5 for the speed(forgot the name,stopped playing the game when I got to rank 30 or so).
also at 3:12 one of your team mates apologizes for using something banned. Perhaps ARs/SMGs and LMGs? lol
this is pretty heavily edited, maybe you should cut down on the editing next time?
