The biggest issue I face is the proximity sensor. As far as the heating issue is concerned, I play a lot of high-end games but I found the heating to be similar to other phones of a higher price range.
Software bug. Looks will be fixed in comming updates

I've been using this device for 5 months now. And iam aware of ppl been talking negatives about this device and I don't think that it is quite acceptable, I mean not all things are. Talking about MIUI bugs🐞 I haven't feel like it's a big deal or maybe according to my device. Some minor bugs and I could just ignore that. Then about battery drain, I've been getting one day battery backup, and iam not expecting more coz even iam a normal user but I am using it for long sometimes. So that's pretty fine to me. And about the charging speed, I often takes more than 1hr to completely charge with it's 33w fast charge. I am also ok with it. My purpose is for multimedia uses. So I just needed a pretty good big display and ofc especially a premium look and feel that I've been getting from my Dark Knight variant. So it is overall a good pick. And what to expect more from a midrange phone under 20k phone? And also the proximity sensor sucks. It's the only thing been irritating me since I bought this device. Initially I thought it'd be solved with a update but have received many updates now and till now it doesn't change anything about the proximity sensor. 🤷♂️

Charging takes 1 hr 25 to 30 mins. It charges slowly when it reaches 90%. Till then it actually feels like we are using a 33 w charger.

You missed the most vital point. They have integrated google contact and google phone app (dialing, recent,contact, favourite) instead of MI apps, this has a bug in linking portion of software. Sometime if you open contact or call history, response is delayed like anything. Sometime calls are coming but indication is not coming. Infact os platform is failing in fetching data from google apps. MI not done proper work on linking instructions
Although phone has good specs at an average price range but Redmi Note 10pro lacks few of the most basic features and some other problems faced are:
1. Pocket mode: to prevent from auto unlocking when in pocket.
2. No Shortcut widgets for home screen for settings or dircet dial, sms, etc.
3. Has wastefull Google's contacts & sms app, which does not support saving contacts to phone but to your mail id only.
4. Top speaker sound is very low but bottom one is good.
5. On screen colour display colour is more of yellowish. One needs to change it to cool colour scheme to make it normal white.
6. 120hz refresh rate has lagging.
7. Charging does take time more then claimed by the manufacturer.
8. Brightness is definitely not 1200nits. I have one plus 2 (400 nits) and on comparing redmi has very little more brightness.
9. Phone is bit bulky on bottom side.
10. Denial of physical activity & phone status is no more possible for Google Services.
11. Battery will barely survive a day if you make 150calls (minutes may be more), 30mins Clash of Clans, 2hours of online surfing & always connected to a wifi or mobile data.
12. Camera colours are over saturated.
13. Contacts does not have all features of smart search functions. Example: If you forgot the name of a person but you remember the item he sells (added in notes) & company name (added in company name) and you search by typing above two words no contacts will be displayed.
14. Also battery barely survives a day if you insert 2 sims and make 50 calls (not minutes) a day, 1 hours of jio tv, 30 mins of Clash of clans, 1hours of web searching and few mailings battery drops from 100 to 15% from 9am to 7pm.

It's been 2 days since I'm using note10pro, 120hz doesn't work always, today while playing BGMI battery was draining quickly. Yesterday, I used the phone for 10.5 hours and I had to charge it 2 times, charging is quick taking 1.5 hours to full charge. my previous phone was pocox2 and now by using note10pro it feels amazing as it is AMOLED, so punchy colors and so smooth.
I am glad I didn't buy pocox3pro.
The proximity sensor is running well by far and the always-on screen is so cool.
I didn't test the camera outside, I've installed Gcam, it's running great.
I think the battery is not optimized properly.
The best thing about this phone is haptic feedback and of course AMOLED.
For first few days battery will be optimized based on your usage so there will be irregularities in battery percentage for few days.. Can you tell me if it's heating or not even now in normal condition?

I rather prefer a phone that has less bells and whistles but also has less bugs. What is the point of buying a phone and waiting for updates to iron out the bugs? A phone's life is only 2 years and months are spent in waiting for updates to remove bugs.

When we start using the phone we get to feel the heating issue especially on the screen. Even a 5 minutes usage of camera gets the phone heated up heavy.
The camera especially the macro camera is superb. But when we come to the ultra wide camera we won't be much impressed.

No heating or charging issues here in Pakistan, although I've faced some sensor issues like when your talking the screen turns off and when u decide to hang up it won't turn on the screen. proximity sensor issue is a major big issue in redmi phones. That's what's bugging me alot.

1. Camera problem: the clicked picture gets corrupted.
2.Fingerprint: Sometimes finger print doesn't work.
3. Google assistant "hey google" doesn't work after 4 or 5 days.

Word of warning to all potential Redmi Note 10 Pro users:- DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE IF YOU RELY ON VIBRATION FOR ALERTS...!!!
if you use silent mode + vibrate at work (as most users do) and rely on vibration to signal incoming messages, texts, phone calls etc then I'm afraid you're out of luck.
The Note 10 Pro's vibration is pathetically weak - so weak you will NOT feel the vibration alert even if the phone is in your jean's pocket.
--> THERE IS NO WAY TO INCREASE VIBRATION INTENSITY. All you have is On/Off.
XIAOMI - You NEED to ensure the phone's BASIC'S are right. 108mpixel camera, 120Hz screen, etc etc is USELESS if the basic functionality of the phone is severely lacking...!!!

10 pro Max is a third class phone . After 1 year 1 month it had a motherboard problem which will incur a cost of 10500 as per the service center. No point repairing it .
Once you switch off the phone it took long time to get switch on and the sound became mute .
Will never buy RedMi in future.

I may know why Xiaomi phones are charged slowly. It may because of over heating. I've used Redmi 7 and faced same problem, if the phone becomes hotter, it is charged approximately 2 times slower than it’s supported charging speed.

For the Battery sensors to reset you have to initiate 2 full charge cycles. Discharge the battery with normal use to 0%, then fullcharge it to 100% (dont use the phone while charging), then discharge it with normal use again (30 mins of gaming at most and rest use it like a normal phone RUclips, Twitter Insta), then Once discharged to 0%, Top it up to 100% again. Now your battery should last longer. Then in the future always charge the battery before it hits 20%, Charge it upto 99% or 98% and your overall experience will be good. Remember do this whenever u buy a new phone or if battery performance is poor.

Default camera app generates all photos and videos with lots of post processing and hence in some cases images, videos appears like grainy, ugly edged, high contrast, and highly saturated.
That proximity sensor thing while on call is very annoying...

There is a green tint on the top half of the display open dialer in dark mode at 50% brightness you'll see it and then open chrome at 10% brightness it turns purple at top half

My MI note 10 pro max is 3 months old. I never faced heating issue but I faced the battery drainage issue overnight. Currently my device charges upto 75% and then stops. Chargers does not work but after a hour and half It again works fine again. I dont know what happens
