I switched from xiaomi to samsung S series and believe me One Ui is the beast with premium feel and also stable android upgrade. Also upto the mark features.
I remember the same about the Note 3 back in early 2016.The demand was so high that it was almost always unavailable online for a few weeks when "flash sales" era was going strong.Finally I managed to purchase it in August '16,when it was easily available but even then I had to wait for the gold colour variant for a few days.
Redmi phones are too expensive now and instead of giving the latest updates and Android version they never give the latest Android version when they launch new phones.Iqoo is bringing the best phones now. And u get regulate updates in iqoo atlist as of now.
Yes all Redmi Note 12 series are launched on Andriod 12 instead of Andriod 13 while Realme 10 pro series which was launched a month before redmi note 12 series they are providing andriod 13 with 2 years of major software updates and 3 years of security updates. While redmi note 12 series will get update till Andriod 14.

At a time when Android 14 beta testing was going on, Xiaomi released Redmi note 12 series with Android 12. This was a deal breaker for me an it tells a lot abt company intent
They are now focusing on the premimum segment so that they get to compete with Samsung and OnePlus in the western market. They no longer need to sell cheap phones with less profit margins in markets like India.
With this sort of MIUI issues, bugs and late updates forget it to compete with Samsung or OnePlus. Though I myself is using Redmi K20 Pro for last 4 years I will never ever go for Xiaomi due to the software although the hardware is very good.
I remember having Mi 4i, Redmi note 4, Note 5, Note 6 pro, Note 8 pro - and now Note 11 pro, tbh till Note 8 pro it felt like Redmi is the best brand; and so now having note 11 pro I had trust on Redmi it would be amazing, but nope; way below my expectations and till now Redmi should've provided 5G under 20k in literally all of their phones, Redmi used to provide amazing customization options with nearly the best specifications for the price. It doesn't feel like Redmi is Redmi right now.
Using POCO X2 and faced camera dead issue , when I reached the service centre they asked for 9k saying it's a motherboard issue ! , Afterwards a small shop owner in my town solved this issue in just 300rs😂🙌

With exponential growth in a short time came new leadership roles that were filled by industry veterans whose archaic ideas on how companies are run to be profitable made it lose its core ethics and principal on which it was successful, i.e. to develop and bring products & features what it's fans really want and not what the double MBA's with years of experience in their finance & marketing team predict and forecast what would sell the most and generate profit. Instead of focusing on quality products, they deviated to heavily advertising & marketing substandard products. Sadly it went from the No. 1 Brand to a No One Wants Brand pretty quickly as well.
My first smartphone was a redmi note 3 which was an amazing product then I switched to Radmi K20 which is till date the best Xiaomi phone.. but after that every phone that came after K20 line up except for the Redmi Note 10 pro is a huge disappointment. Really missing the old Xiaomi which used to give us the best product with affordable prices.

Mi is not working on software(miui) as it used to be ..thats why miui updates are creating hardware issues like motherboard dead issue.If they do this software optimisation,which is possible only by reducing number of launches each quarter,they could make a comeback. Meanwhile other brands(moto & Lava ) are offering close-to-stock-Android software & getting attention of the customers.

I am POCO X2 user..6 month ago my phone camera dead and service center was charged up to 9000 rs for replacement of motherboard.. After MIUI Global 12.1.5 update my phone performance like Tortoise.. Battery backup only 4hrs on medium usage.. Heating problem increased.. Touch sampling rate and apps opening and closing speed very slow.. Also 120Hz.. app switching animations are very glittery.. Vibration feels like under 12k phones.... That's why I have decided my next phone is Google Pixel😊 Real Android 😊😊😊😊
Nice and Clear information. I have been a Redmi customer for years. I now hate Redmi. I had a very bad experience with my Redmi Note 10, where the front camera is not working. I went to the service center and they are asking me to shell out 10499.00 rs for a phone of 16000.00. Spending rs10499 for repair is not fair enough. It is not my fault at all, my MIUI update killed my Front camera. I didn't have any issues till Feb 2023 and the issue started in April. My phone is also out of Warranty. I decided one thing Never ever I will go back to Redmi again. I hate them to the core now.

The reason i left Xiaomi is motherboard and cpu issue. I’be been using Xiaomi since 2017 and i used redmi note 4 , mi A1, poco f1 and then spent on flagship mi 11x pro and after exact 1.3 yrs my motherboard dead and service center were asking 20,000 for the board. I had to sold my phone in 2k as a dead as i even gave my to my local shop and karol bagh but phone not booted because some parts were unavailable. I’ve now moved to iphone 14 pro max and im satisfied and i will never recommend Xiaomi to anyone. 🎉🎉🎉🎉 RIP XIAOMI 🎉🎉🎉
Very bad experience in past I have purchased MI 11 ultra and now many of devices facing motherboard issue cannot expect such luggage and garbage behaviour for premium and flexip devices
I have POCO M4 Pro phone but there is not any issue in it. This is my best phone ever also I have bought x4 pro 5g this is also very good and smooth working, no heating while changing. This is my side May be yours different
My Redmi K20 Pro has many hardware issues. Speaker gone in 1 year and now if phone gets overheat during gameplay the Mobile network simply disappear, Chipset Problem it seems. Xiaomi Build Quality has became very terrible in last few years. Don't get me started with MIUI
I ditched Xiaomi after my Poco X3 Pro's motherboard got crashed and the phone became dead (the 2nd time under warranty). I dropped it because I lost my data twice and then switched to Motorola edge 30 pro, feels premium and now carefree from the risk of data loss...

I also bought the Mi 11 Ultra. I had the phone for 1 year, during that period my phone was in service for 8months with 3 times motherboard and wifi failure. That was my last phone, now I’m happy with my iPhone 14 Pro Max.

I bought Redmi Note 5 Pro in 2018, it was a flagship at the time. It was a super good phone for the time with SD 636 Chipset and the camera made everyone think it was a DSLR. But when they started giving updates and you know what happens after updates. But i still used it till Jan 2023, the phone i.e., MIUI hanged, crashed and camera was super bad. I thought 5 years is too much for any phone until i used my friend's Realme 5 pro that he bought in 2019. It still worked good despite the same tactics used by Redmi with updates. So i bought Realme 9 pro 5G this time, the phone OnePlus rebadged as Nord CE2 lite. I would always be grateful for Xiaomi for making phones affordable when Samsung used to sell us 712 MB Ram with whatever processor in 10k-12k.
Mere redmi note 10 pro max me pehle front camera freeze hua inke os update ke baad, jiski inhone warranty nahi di.. repair cost 13000 hai.. motherboard hi replace karna pad raha hai.. secondly abhi sound me bhi bugs aa gaya hai.. phone koi sound output ni de raha .. yahan tak ki bluetooth ke through bhi nahi.. 20000 rupye ka phone 2 saal me kabada ho chuka hai..

I have used past years Redmi1 Redmi4A Redmi note 7s Xioami lite NE 5g I have faced same problem i.e. MIUI is working very slow after updates and all are hangs.
Note 10 , 11 series apne ghatiya camera quality ki wajah se nhi chal paya. The main reason was bad camera quality. Baki reasons se kuch khas fark nhi padta.
Poco X3 Mera 1 sal ke andar dead ho gaya tha and mujhe service bhi Nehi Mila or bola thik kharna chahate ho to 9k spend karna padega ..so i shifted to vivo t1 pro 5g and it's best phone and vivo is good 👍

The deal breaker for me was the MIUI dialer, which is now Google dialer. This ruined the experience. And the default call recording is also not there.

The reason i left Xiaomi is motherboard and cpu issue.
I’be been using Xiaomi since 2017 and i used redmi note 4 , mi A1, poco f1 and then spent on flagship mi 11x pro and after exact 1.3 yrs my motherboard dead and service center were asking 20,000 for the board. I had to sold my phone in 2k as a dead as i even gave my to my local shop and karol bagh but phone not booted because some parts were unavailable. I’ve now moved to iphone 14 pro max and im satisfied and i will never recommend Xiaomi to anyone.

I have POCO M4 Pro phone but there is not any issue in it. This is my best phone ever also I have bought x4 pro 5g this is also very good and smooth working, no heating while changing.

My Redmi K20 Pro has many hardware issues. Speaker gone in 1 year and now if phone gets overheat during gameplay the Mobile network simply disappear, Chipset Problem it seems. Xiaomi Build Quality has became very terrible in last few years. Don't get me started with MIUI

I ditched Xiaomi after my Poco X3 Pro's motherboard got crashed and the phone became dead (the 2nd time under warranty). I dropped it because I lost my data twice and then switched to Motorola edge 30 pro, feels premium and now carefree from the risk of data loss...
Real problem is logon ko latest features wale phones chahiye but under 20k...

Bought the Mi 11 Ultra then sold within 2 months. That was my first and last Xiaomi smartphone.
I also bought the Mi 11 Ultra. I had the phone for 1 year, during that period my phone was in service for 8months with 3 times motherboard and wifi failure. That was my last phone, now I’m happy with my iPhone 14 Pro Max.

I bought Redmi Note 5 Pro in 2018, it was a flagship at the time. It was a super good phone for the time with SD 636 Chipset and the camera made everyone think it was a DSLR. But when they started giving updates and you know what happens after updates. But i still used it till Jan 2023, the phone i.e., MIUI hanged, crashed and camera was super bad. I thought 5 years is too much for any phone until i used my friend's Realme 5 pro that he bought in 2019. It still worked good despite the same tactics used by Redmi with updates.
So i bought Realme 9 pro 5G this time, the phone OnePlus rebadged as Nord CE2 lite.
I would always be grateful for Xiaomi for making phones affordable when Samsung used to sell us 712 MB Ram with whatever processor in 10k-12k.
Mere redmi note 10 pro max me pehle front camera freeze hua inke os update ke baad, jiski inhone warranty nahi di.. repair cost 13000 hai.. motherboard hi replace karna pad raha hai.. secondly abhi sound me bhi bugs aa gaya hai.. phone koi sound output ni de raha .. yahan tak ki bluetooth ke through bhi nahi.. 20000 rupye ka phone 2 saal me kabada ho chuka hai..
