Yeah, almost everyone I talk to wants to jump directly to the pink part and skip the blue and green.
Great video and explanation as always Walker. Thank you 🙏
Most of my clients are nowhere near the stage of connect. Lots of them have heard of digital transformation and come to me wanting to implement industry 4.0 but when I visit their facilities to assess their digital maturity they are typically hovering somewhere between industry 2 and industry 3. Very often with poor or no SOPS, in desperate need of a tidy up (5S) and little to no automation or data collection. So I believe that there is a precursor to what you’ve described here. The digital readiness phase, so if we call Collect the starting point of Digital Transformation, digital readiness is ‘Start -1’.
Love your podcasts and videos. Always informative and entertaining. Keep up the good work.
Perfect compliment to a Digital Transformation Maturity Assessment (DTMA) with Proof of Concept (POC) process. Lightboard looks great! Looking forward to how you will use AI to augment these podcasts - ChatGPT window on your lightboard, virtual factory creation for demos in real time, dashboard creation with voice prompts, etc...
💯👀
Thanks Jeff!! 🙏
But seriously - actually fantastic video. Distilled info with no BS.
Thank you 🙏🙏
Love this Walker! Perfect timing to have this content
Once again I have learned something new here. This fills in some gaps for me. I can now better visualize the path. And this one blew me away ... "In order to predict the future, you have to collect the present to create the past." I have been trying to wrap my head around ML and AI especially with respect to the concept of models, and none of the articles state this. It makes total sense. If the data is not present and is not accurate, I am thinking that ML/AI will "predict" the wrong things.
I am going to send this video to a colleague in a Financial Services firm because I really feel (I am open to being wrong on this one) that the concepts described here go beyond automation. OK, going to watch this video again now.
Awesome visual display unit! …Thank you Walker! Agape, Brother
Great content. Exactly what I needed for setting up a proposed roadmap for one of my clients.
We love to hear this!!
Really good to see that the light board is back. I like it!
A lot of the community said they preferred the lightboard, so we decided to bring it back! Stay tuned for more content!
I tried the hole video figuring out how the magic black board works.
I think I got it. Are you writing so we can read it but it is wrong for you?
Brand new!
Had to break it in with the new whiteboard (lightboard?) video 🙈
Nice summary! I’ve been wanting to do a LinkedIn post on this for a while, and I’ll reference this video.
Excellent! Please do!
Solid explanation and breakdown.
Thank you 🙏
