Has anyone got anywhere close to the 1:47 ? Looking at the video the car is so planted and stable, but for me it isnt and i cant turn the way he does it just slides. The car also doesnt brake as well as in this video and if i push any harder the wheels just lock up. I tried to brake at the points where he does and there is no way of stoping the car without locking the wheels
ye it just spins out in p much all corners. i find that taking his gears and somewhat similar pressure and putting on default setup works better for me, also in another comment he says he is using a controller, so yeah. assists maybe?
@@nova-co3bp Break when the car is straight, release the brake slowly while turning the wheel into the bend to keep the downforce in the front, think of the car as a see-saw, I find if you concentrate on the dip of the bonnet when applying the brake's going into every bend releasing brake smoothly and turning the wheel in balance with the brake release and watching the bonnet your car will almost feel like it's herby, I'm no expert and hope I'm not trying to teach you how to suck eggs with my advice, you should do the bonnet watching in every car you drive until your brain automatically scans and processes the information without thinking about it. just remember quick on the brake and slow off the brake.
@@breakfast8461 he's playing normal assetto as well. It's true top speed is not the same for us but braking is possible. I'm on controller, ik it needs a lot of courage to release the brakes when the car hasn't slowed down as much as u expect it to be, but believe in ur self and hope that the car would live with ur inputs. Just stomp the brakes and hold it till u have reached 50m board. Then u release the brakes gradually to 1% as u turn towards the apex. Let the rear wheels slide and as soon as the car has turned enuf to make the corner go back on the throttle. U might fail to catch the slide initially but keep trying. If u slid too much at first, release the brakes slightly faster and go on the throttle earlier and vice versa. If the car is sliding too quickly soften the suspension ( start with bump values 25F, 15R works for me)
Tyre temps, track temp and wind direction are important factors in determining how fast u can take a corner. So practice in ideal conditions first and then try with real conditions
How is this even remotely possible? I used your setup but I cannot go lower than 1:53! Same track, same car, I have top equipment. I understand I might suck, but 5 seconds is crazy! Looks like I cannot brake as late as you and I have less grip in the corners. Any suggestions what I might check? Thanks!
@@blankmood丯 i found the trick, bro just stomp on the the brake pedal till 50m mark and the gradually release till apex as u turn. Also always be either on brakes or throttle. Never roll the car thru the corner without any inputs.
What configuration of control do you use, can you pass a capture or something, I use a custom steering wheel, I think that my fault is in the gamma that I have it at 2.43. I do 1:49:5 :(
Hi. I'm not sure my settings will help you because I use a gamepad, but in the advanced settings I have: Gamma = 1.90 Filter = 1.00 Speed Sensitivity = 0.03 Brake Gamma = 2.40 (that should be the default value). Hope it's useful somehow!
superb setup, better than mine by seconds
Thanks!
I used to be 1.52 at best, now it is easy 1.51 with a lot of mistakes. Thanks dude
Keep it up!
1:5x will soon be just a memory.

Same here! Also I can’t get close to the top speed he does. Not sure if that’s due to me playing on normal Assetto Corsa and he on Competizione.

You have ABS. You can push the whole brake padel. Stop braking completly and then start turning helped me.
Physics changed maybe? Same issue for me. Also I cannot go above 169kph. Track conditions also matter ig
