I’m loving your journey guys!! I think you must have been on the track when I was. The nests belong to storks. Google.. storks nests Camino and go to images! You’ll see them there!
Hi Hilary Glad your enjoying We left SJPDP on the 19th of August Thanks for the stork info A few days more into our Camino we were looking at a nest when an elderly Spanish lady approached us, she looked up ant the nest and said”made by the bird that brings the babies “ then the penny dropped.oh STORKS LOL
@@JimandDe so, my friend and I started on the 19th of September and came into Santiago early November !! We were on the track together but at the opposite ends!!! :))
@@JimandDe We got into Santiago early November so yes, the weather in the Galicia area was very chilly and we had a few wet days. We kinda expected this and it was nothing that stopped us from walking though. We just rugged up and stripped off as warmed up while walking. In the beginning we walked early so as to beat the heat in the afternoons but by the end we didn't need to do that as the weather was cooler. We therefore didn't leave until after 7-8ish and we sometimes didn't get in to our destination until 3 or 4ish. I liked this as it didn't feel like we were rushing. We would take the opportunity to stop and have relaxed breakfasts and lunches. We booked our accomodation each night for the following day so we assured of a bed. Keep posting guys!! I can't wait for you to get into Santiago. Walking into Santiago was and will be always be, a joyous highlight of my life. Hilary
@@hilarybottcher7279 Hi Hilary sounds like you worked your walking days out perfectly and we agree totally, it certainly is a life highlight Jim and De
Hi Joanne Glad your enjoying them My phone was actually held in a gimbal and I’ve always been a bit of a handy man , so I made a clamp that fitted to my pole that the gimbal slipped into.....I dropped them both a lot Lol
An easy day followed by a good feed. It doesn't get any better than that.
Well done, yet again.
It is a pleasure to watch your adventure, each episode is a joy. You two are little engines that can! Cheers!
Thanks Elly
