This doesn't help me at all because men's sizes are only waste and length so you adding all these extra measurements is just confusing the fuck out of me

These measurements are if you're having a bespoke suit tailored for you which you're getting online. Caus otherwise, the tailor would do it for you in person.
Higher end pre-tailored suits van also have thee measurements.
If you're getting a standard off the rack suit sure, they only have waist and length.
