Unpopular Opinion: Mercury in Pisces is a super power!

- Mercury is consider in fall and detriment in Pisces, so people tend to think of it as a "bad" thing. I'm here to tell you that I LOVE this placement! I'd even say that Mercury in Pisces people are some of the most open minded I know.
I totally concur with the feelings of having a mercury in Pisces. I see it as a form of dyslexia. my flexible brain it’s so good at coming up with unique solutions, often pretty quickly From others who have a more concrete way of thinking and expressing themselves. Even when I leave I put a challenge aside, I feel my brain still works on it as Evident with a solution a few minutes later the next morning, etc.
When I’m writing even journaling I notice word mistakes. My brain thinks that it had wrote written a word and in fact my hand wrote some thing different. I’ve worked my whole life on increasing my focus and attention and my communication skills. When I’m passionately teaching about some thing that IFeel strongly about, the words come much more clearly. I need alone time to process my thoughts and have been journaling my whole life to aid in this quest. I wonder if others have experienced the same? And if you feel most comfortable and nature and quietSpaces?

I resonate it with this so well. I keep saying that imagine that everything we think we know is just borrowed information we received from someone. From a young age, people never truly get the chance to come up with their own original thoughts. So we basically recycle thoughts and paraphrase them to make them our own.
I felt every word ... you are not alone . We are intuned with the collective unconscious and it will drive us crazy and make other think we’re crazy until we take the wheel and it becomes the greatest gift. Thanks so much for sharing 💞

Mercury in Pisces is about intuitive "thinking". Not really thinking, but rather being able to understand things because you're tapped into your intuition. This is what the new earth is about. We are the way showers as reliance on "logic" deconstructs.
I’ve been told many times that I’m horrible at telling jokes or stories cuz I jump around to much by adding small details but forgetting the big ones until later , so then I go back and explain the missed details, lol. So writing is definitely my best form of communication, 😂

I relate to all of this so much!! It’s funny how I come to conclusions because I just know what’s right. I’m not sure exactly where it comes from and I’m not eloquent when I try to explain. It drives my boyfriend mad because he has such a science brain. Sometimes I feel like a dunce when I try to explain myself.
I was also a childhood mystic. Very deep and just a sense of knowing about the universe abd reality abd very philosophical as a child.
It got a lot easier for me once I gave up the notion that I need to be able to explain things. XD I'm fine with being a mystery, even to myself.
Though at the same time, the curiosity never ceases
I have Mercury in Pisces in the 2nd house. I often feel pretty foggy, like with my head under the water. I am an information sponge, I can spend hours and days just reading and absorbing information and then forget about my physical needs. Self-care is something I had to learn. I have multiple Uni degrees so definitely Mercury does not mean stupidity. But I really need spending time alone. Not necessarily that I like it but I need it for recharging batteries and processing my emotions/thoughts. I don't know, I like my Mercury in Pisces. Also, I can read tarot cards with spooky precision, I can tell you very detailed things. It works all over again and again, they never let me down. My family comes to me when they lose something etc. It's crazy, I don't know how it works but it does. I've been reading cards for 20+ years and it is seriously spooky how easy it is to connect with the collective unconscious or whatever it is - at least for me it is easy. But I believe it is everyone's capability. I just happened to be taped into this other realm naturally.

I love this. My sun is in Pisces with mercury, in the 10th house. And my moon and rising are in Gemini in the first house. And they are all square each other! I do have a head/heart battle, finding that balance and having trust in myself has been a huge part of my path. But maybe because my rising is ruled by mercury and is in Gemini, I actually communicate very well, especially when it comes from things I've learned through my own personal experience and then have science to back that up (which I am always looking for thanks to my Gemini rising). I also LOVE that you brought the collective unconscious into this, this is literally what I do for work, I take people into altered states of consciousness so that they can work on the subconscious and superconscious (collective unconscious) levels. Mercury and Venus along with Sun in Pisces. I was tormented in elementary for speaking very slowly and deliberately (some teachers thought I was 'slow') along with having to go to speech therapy because I spoke English like my German born mom. I could ace all subjects except math/algebra which if there is dyslexia for numbers I'd have it. I'm a visual learner and a subject that requires rules and supposed 'definites' like algebra I just find immensely boring.
I am learning to just 'go with the flow' and let the universe let things fall into place instead of trying to force the issue.
I thought I had a touch of dyslexia, but when I saw a neuro ophthalmologist recently, he said that my issue isn't dyslexia but rather short-term visual memory issues. I can forget what numbers I read a split second after looking at them! 😅 Some of the muscles related to visual things also fatigue easily, and I'm in occupational therapy for related things that should help. I'll be doing exercises to strengthen related muscles as well as techniques to help me focus where I need to focus, and it sounds like I'll be getting special glasses with a little bit of a tent and perhaps even a slight prison! I have so many sensory processing issues, and at this point, my visual processing might be the worst of all of them, and I'm hoping that addressing this will free up more processing power in my brain for things like auditory processing. 😁
Not trying to make it about me, just saying there might be specialists who can make life a bit easier for you. 💙 I think dyslexia may be more related to seeing a mirror image of a letter or number rather than reading 3275 and thinking it said 2375 half a second later, but I can't say I have a ton of knowledge about dyslexia, so I may be mistaken.

I have this same placement. And the one thing we all definitely have is an imagination like no other. That’s why I’m going to write my first childrens book and I will be rich 🤑 Did I also mention this placement seems to be very delusional. I noticed I get into phantasy island a lot with this placement and it’s hard to distinguish the real world with the dream world. It would be interesting to gather 100 people with this placement on an 🏝, make a reality show, and call it dream island. You would have the #1 hit on Netflix. Sorry Lost 😞
You are basically confirming and showing Mercury in “fall” in Pisces as Mercury is about focus, linear thinking, very detailed, concise, etc. “Fall” isn't a bad thing and the ancients didn't all say it was. Plato surely had Mercury In Pisces! How else could he have thought of all the stuff he did -some of which is only being proven true 2000 years later. Genius! It's people’s current idea of what “fall” means that is the issue and what you disagree with, I suspect. If I want to make cookies and stir the batter and I have a wooden spoon and a warm spaghetti noodle, one will be great at stirring and one won't. But one will be great for dinner and one won't. So the “earthly” Mercury is typically Virgo-like. And it works well for those type of perfecting, accurate, detailed, one-focus thinking and talking with things we can see and touch. Virgo says “seeing is believing!”. Pisces says you have to believe it is possible and then manifest it with the power of your thoughts cause thoughts are energy even if they can't be seen. 🦄 But if you want to get philosophical and imagine the future, intuit who is calling on the phone (or that your boyfriend’s new job will probably be in another state for no particular reason- and then that's what happens) and what the theory of relativity is- then we need Mercury in Pisces. Einstein had Mercury in Pisces! That is what I always say. Ha ha. To remind me that my own Mercury in Pisces (and Sun, Venus, north node) in 3rd house works perfectly. At least its in 3rd house so maybe helps a little. But square Neptune in Sag in 12th so I'm always mentally going on some adventure that I only notice when I come back and wonder, “now where did I go?” I'm with you on the couch- is it even there? Is any of it here? Am I even here? Who and what and why am I? I can trip out so much and freak myself out when I zoom so far out into the Universe and look back on earth and my tiny world. What's the point of it all? Will we ever know. Is there even any knowing? I also have Jupiter in Scorpio trining Mercury! We should start a Mercury in Pisces chat club. That would be fun and funny!! 😂 You are awesome and have a wonderful mind. And I appreciate that you put this out there. But I don't think what you said is controversial. We all have so many beliefs and even those aren't real. They change and they're not really us. It's just something we hold on to until we get more information. I'm with you- learning astrology, trying everything, open to all systems and ideas. That's a Pisces mutable godsend. The ability to go either way and change our mind. I was just thinking this same thought the other day about a Mercury in Pisces club.. We need people who understand us effortlessly.. I am also a Pisces plus I have sag in Neptune as well.... This Neptune energy is strong AF... Its a lot to deal with at times and I have a lot of free spirited energy but need time away from people to regroup... Absorbing all that energy is a lot also attached to being a water sign...
