Get it right mate, if you’re gonna come across as all knowing on EFC. Hunter only ever had one ACL, back in 22 and underwent a conventional surgery in Perth. He blasted out of the blocks in 23 as the leading goal kicker in WAFL which is why EFC picked him up in MSD. He played two games in VFL before a scan picked up a stress fracture in his back. His rehab went fabulously and was managed by EFC and he was imposing in pre season training, last 1 minute of drill he suffered another ACL on same knee and underwent a surgery by Australia’s best surgeon who completed two surgeries due to his world experience and research. He was 2.5minths in advance of rehab after only 4 months, however EFC did not manage an issue in his back from stress fracture and he had to have a minor surgery in Perth, due to unliveable pain that impeded his training. EFC were never going to offer an extension so let him go. To say he is injury prone is a “stretch” and telling supporters he has 3 ACL is dead wrong. Perhaps you should get your facts right before throwing a 22 yo under the bus! My understanding is that Jaiden was an elite trainer at EFC and one of the hardest working in the club, by all accounts, which you failed to mention. Good luck to him, I believe he is thriving in the West.
I’ve always held Hunter in high regard, he’s just a young player who has had a shocking run with injury, the club made the right call letting him go but I’d love nothing more than to see him get out on the park for another club
@Drakenhax Totally agree. I am trying to convince myself why he got an extension. I like you and most others with the same opinion what as supporters what we couldn't see, but the list management team seem fit and with a different view? I like to see Kelly moved on. Is there any nepotism going on within the walls of Essendon?
Love the energy Hind brings and Setterfield is good when he’s fit. Both continue to perform at VFL but looks like Scott has moved past them. Jayden Davey and Wanganeen haven’t shown enough. Think all 4 may not be on the list next year
I think hunter, Baldwin, Jayden Davey,Wanganeen delist. Trade table: Cox Gresham, Shield Parash,Wright, maybe settlefield. Hep and goldy retirement, big calls to be made!
Nick Cox needs to get his head right, gets lost on the ground, and gets caught out of position or late to contests. The pressure is too much. The whole team had the yips at the moment.
Outs in order of likeliness Career over: weid, tex, hunter, Heppell(both confirmed) Likely: Goldstein 50/50: Davey Want out, but not happening: Cox(zero talent just average everywhere), kelly(real nepo Baby and does nothing), menzie(signed) Warning: Davey jr, setterfield, hind (fringe players)
Really sad with this, seemed like there was heaps to like with this guy. Very cruel industry, unfortunately the right call but just unlucky run with injuries for Jaiden.
Watch any essendon player get traded , they will become superstars , ......quick Caddy and Roberts leave immediately before essendon turns you into an also rans !!!!
Thanks for the update, it appears dodo has also been delisted from today. Looks like the club may be starting to hear the supporters and is getting serious. We may be bold come trade period...Parish, Shiel, Wright, Perko, May all be on the table? Could be interesting.
Kevin Sheedy also finally stepped down from the Board of Directors. I imagine the club President Dave Barham could possibly be next given how much he backed both Dodoro and Sheedy publicly.
I don't think trading Parish is on the cards. At the moment he is easily our 2nd best midfielder and when he is up and firing an A grade midfielder. Perko looks so promising but has had a pretty lackluster year. However the question still remains; Why on earth do we keep playing Menzies??
@@dilloncoleman144Perkins hasn't looked remotely promising since Round 1 against the Hawks. He has now had 4 seasons in the team and not showing any real growth whatsoever despite mostly been fit unlike say Cox and Reid of that same draft class.
Are our wingers too tall ? Cox and Perkins are not wingers. When the ball hits the ground they struggle. Martin is a perfect winger. Is Parish surplus to needs ?? Maybe trade Parish and Wright who both have value
Yes they 100% are. The modern game predominantly requires speed on the wings and we had that last season when Martin and Durham were playing there. Duursma been the only legitimate winger all season. So next season Martin simply needs to be moved back there and Duursma works on his body because he keeps picking up injuries.
I don’t think the Davey boys seem to be at this stage AFL quality. Kaine Baldwin is injury prone. Not sure about Weeds or Wanganeen because the club is trying new roles for them and the backline is still a problem. They see something in Cox I don’t. ❤️🖤❤️🖤❤️🖤
Finally, weed gets a shot ... only about a month too late and ffs get Langford out of the forward line and let him get some confidence playing behind the ball
Setters and hind not getting a game, I feel those two are gone. Seeing how weideman goes, if ok, he stays and Baldwin is gone, poor and Baldwin stays. Was thinking the reason massimo left is cause davey was getting games over him, when he should have, realised if he was going to stay at essendon he wouldn't be getting much time, even if he was twice as good as the daveys
@taliamason7986 I think when he said that didn't want to move interstate or even wouldn't move interstate before his draft said a lot about how professional he was going to be.
@taliamason7986 it depends on the team he would end up traded too. For example D'ambrosio would be running around in the seconds if he was still at Essendon....instead he goes to a team that believes in him, plays him in a role that's suits and you have a potential all Australian on your hands
@@RayHarris-h5wPerkins has been tried out in multiple positions be it as a a half forward, inside midfielder or on the wing. He just simply isn't good enough and hasn't shown any real quality whatsoever the whole season after that outstanding Round 1 performance against the Hawks. He is nothing more than a passenger at this point and we already possess way too many of them that need to go on the chopping block.

Menzie getting another year is concerning
Oprah does the contracts, you get a contract.
I need to know what the coaching staff see in him. Im trying real hard to understand it. I don't.

I think his Brad Scott’s son, that the only logical explanation left.
Love the energy Hind brings and Setterfield is good when he’s fit. Both continue to perform at VFL but looks like Scott has moved past them. Jayden Davey and Wanganeen haven’t shown enough. Think all 4 may not be on the list next year
genuinely shattered, he looked very good in the VFL. Genuienly thought he could make it.
I think hunter, Baldwin, Jayden Davey,Wanganeen delist. Trade table: Cox Gresham, Shield Parash,Wright, maybe settlefield. Hep and goldy retirement, big calls to be made!
We should have a massive clean out. Too many injury prone passengers in this side. How Menzies is getting a game every week is beyond belief.
Nick Cox needs to get his head right, gets lost on the ground, and gets caught out of position or late to contests. The pressure is too much. The whole team had the yips at the moment.

Same supporters who gave Tippa a standing ovation any time one of his pot shots went through? Eat sh1t Essendon.
No one wants Peter wright

Martin is taller than Perkins. I think it’s a talent issue

Who in their right mind would trade for Wright. He's cooked. Has been since he was gifted a Crighton Medal.
yes i remember you did say that shame for the guy tho
How does Cox get another contract

Hunter needs get his body right, even if he gives up on footy
the dud recruiter got delisted along with him
two birds , thank fft
sheil too , among others ,he gave the more times to the opposing team
I am absolutely certain the afl would not allow the davey boys to be dropped as they have aboriginal quotas they have to meet.
If Perkins gets traded watch him turn into a superstar
Perkins won't be a star. He just simply isn't professional or hungry enough to become one. His ceiling is realistically B grade at best.

@taliamason7986 yeah I agree, hopefully get some draft capital and move him on
