I don’t have this Laban model, but own the brand’s MENTO, and the TAROKO, and could highly recommend Laban pens. They ARE excellent writers, and are quite attractive. The Mento is one of the largest pens in my collection for those looking for a longer, girthier model than the Solar.
Thank you for the review Mr Brown

It’s a very nice pen. The section won’t trouble me at all. And I never post any pen, so that’s always a non-issue to me. A steel nib that writes splendidly is always a big draw. Even I’s choose the B nib if I were to buy the pen. The design aesthetics of the pen are nice. The price is just fine.
I might even have bought this pen as my first Laban. But I just bought the Tibaldi Bamboo Black pen for $140 direct from Italy.

Cool pen, thanks for the show. It's a shame it doesn't post, as surely the cap could grab onto one of those grooves in the barrel.

Thanks for the review. And thanks for the Steven-ness. Nice to get vibes from a good, advanced human.

One of my favorites, heft, girth, metal grip, and price, everything I want.

I sold mine I hated it. Nib too stiff and grip too slipery. Mine didn't have any feedback at all (it was an EF), the one you're using sounds awesome. Tanks for the video :D

I often don't care for the look of segmented pens, but the color uniformity on this one makes it appealing.
Not posting well doesn't necessarily make a pen a no for me, but I do like a pen that posts well, so when there are so many other options available it greatly decreases the chance of me purchasing.

I found an older model of a laban pen, almost 20 years old with a plastic feed and a number #5 bock stainless steel two tone gold plated nib in medium size. It's in good condition and for a 50 dollars price, what do you think, should i go for it?

Pens WAY overpriced on that website. Pelican 800 almost $600 stupid prices.

It writes wonderfully, but mine dries out if not used every day.
