Both The Jesterfrog and Armydillo are just fantastic songs. Jesters Starts off just kind of funky and relaxing for the first quarter of the song, then comes tail’s part! (beast form), the buildup, tension and chaos of the instrumentals make it feel like a fight or flight situation (no pun intended) which i fucking adore. The armydillo mix, is actually refreshing and more original with a few references of the old mix, the first half of the song starts off also relaxing but groovy, then the rest of the song builds up and tension rises up but isnt as chaotic as the jesterfrog mix, other than that its still an enjoyable song made by the one and only armydillo God it sucks that jesterfrog liked saving illegal shit on his computer. Because i would love to see more songs as crazy and intense like the original “My Horizon” Mix

The first leaked version of my horizon was good, but I don't know what happened that out of nowhere I stopped listening to it, I don't think it's a bad song, on the contrary, it's excellent. However, seeing everything that has happened, the things that its creator had to do and others made me gradually lose interest in that song, I can still enjoy it, but the problem is that something tells me that this song could have been a little better.
People say that we can separate the art from the author, but things are very difficult when you realize what the author of that work did, an example is a faker, he is a good character, a reinterpretation of the original sonic exe, but Although I can enjoy the character and his songs, I still have in mind that his creator is a horrible being, and that is quite unfortunate. And now imagine chaotix and his creator, jester, who turned out to be a pede***** (or at least that's what they say), I prefer to think that didn't happen but it's hard.

This entire mod went through hell. and this song getting like 5 different versions!, that just proves how depressing and toxic things got, and especially the behind the scenes shit, (I swear everyone on the dev team was just extremely toxic, despite us getting some good EXEs like Starved and Needlemouse getting some stuff was fantastic) I'm still a big fan of some of the music, but like with all the drama and leaks, it sorta soured most of the mod, and it especially hurt when it got cancelled Honestly, with how shitty things got, the mod deserves to just finally rest (although I now lost all respect for RightBurst_Ultra, I'm hoping Rerun tries to not put 2000 OCs in the mod), I'm looking forward to The Fatal Files, and D-Side's take on Sonic.exe (and who know's I got some Sonic.exe type stuff in the works as well, might come out soon, don't count on it) edit: this somehow aged like fucking wine, Souless DX is just Sonic.exe 2 but with a less atrocious dev team, who trolls us constantly.
Rightburst was the 1.0/1.5 director, Revie was the 2.0 and used to be 2.5/3.0 director, MarStarBros was the new director for 2.5/3.0 ever since Revie was called out for the "supposed things". And now that the mod is cancelled, The rerun had an old director until RIGHTBURST decides to take the fucking director role and ruined it all once again. Not to mention that the QNA, he managed to convince people to hate revie. And also his "I got no comment"

I love how the devs try to claim there was no replacement for Faker/EXE/Whatever you wanna call em' but like... the several versions of My Horizon contradict that lmfao. 1. Not necessarily the song itself, but Wechidna is literally just a Knuckles version of EXE, even down to the artstyle. 2. Marstarbro's version of My Horizon is obviously a repurposed version of EXE's first song, Faker. 3. Armydillo's mix LITERALLY has a Faker reference in the first half, like, come the fuck on. Now, I know that these songs were all scrapped for a reason (except Armydillo's mix, which is being repurposed for another mod), but here's the thing. The .exe devs were claiming that there was no EXE replacement, even *_BEFORE_* the first known My Horizon mix was leaked, so that argument doesn't just fall apart, but completely SHATTERS.
Almost each individual dev from the team has been exposed for so much shit, amongst them straight up stealing a lot of Revie's ideas despite their supposedly disgust and offense towards her person (despite all being just a massive framing with no evidence).
Im glad that armydillo's version is being used for II, because I got sick of the same song with little variants, not even the original one with wechidna sounds good anymore.
i REALLY don't understand the hate for the "Obsolete" mix of this song. I think all versions are fantastic, and yeah the obsolete version isn't my favorite out of the 4, but i still think its great. I like the vocals a lot, and personally i think they fit the character really really well. this is going to sou d weird, but they have this perfect "gross" kinda scratchy feel to them that just gives the song a completely different mood compared to the rest. usually people don't use gross as a compliment but i just did. or well at least the first part's vocals are like that in my opinion, monster form is meh... although i've never really been a huge fan of the second half of the song. Anyways, great songs!
Man I kinda feel the same way! Like dude I would have put a more light 8-bit crunch effect to the vocals to make it sound scratched so it could kinda fit in with a more Genesis theme, more heavier reverb could have worked too to make wechidna seem bigger than his 1st form. Some changes to the instrumentals like more a more chip tune mixed with some Sega Genisis and Sega Saturn tunes but I can't do remixes right now so I don't know if this would sound creepy, moderate, or just plain goofy
I finally found another person with the same opinion, I always thought the first and second form vocals of the obsolete fit chaotix way more, given he is an incomplete string of code.

Not only was the Wechidna Mix went unused, it wasn't only because Rightburst got kicked, it was also because the song was leaked, hence, they replaced Wechidna with Chaotix
I think my favorite is whechidna’s mix, leaving you to believe he’s knuckles, as sort of a false sense of security, then it completely hatches out, contorting itself and it’s own skin! But of course, it was held to controversy and ultimately scrapped. I also prefer this one because it’s the first and the base setting stone for the rest. Oh in close second, it’s the armydillo one.
Armydillo's version is the best one by far. The 1st part sounds so tranquil and the 2nd part while it's not as chaotic, is so much of a banger. Don't get me wrong, the other versions have their charms and i found them good, but this version is fantastic Edit: Also I like how Our horizon is kinda mixed between the first 3 and Armydillo's, where the 1st part is the final mix, and the 2nd part sounds like armydillo's a bit (not as chaotic)
Fun Fact: Wechidna was made by Rightburst by directly ripping off Faker. That ain't even a joke either. ComGaming in a leaked DM literally showed screenshots showed him designing Wechidna just to be like Faker, but with Knuckles. For someone who shits on Revie and her creations so much, he seems to be very inspired by them. I'm not saying this to change anyone's mind on Revie or the recent info either. But no matter what you believe, it isn't right for Rightburst to blatantly rip-off someone else's character like that Also kinda a good call to scrap the Faker Mix because it would've pissed off a lot of people, especially after MarStarBro said there wasn't any replacement to EXE and it was just being removed. This would've looked so bad on his part and made it seem like Chaotix was a replacement to Faker (even though Wechidna, Hog, and OMW were already replacements)

Joke or not, it seems suspicious that they would suddenly create OMW specifically for the FNF mod and make his design similar to EXE's true form if it was just a joke. And considering I also heard people try to say Hog/Scorched wasn't a replacement when Jack literally said he made Hog for the FNF mod (and the striking similarities of Scorched to EXE's true form) it wouldn't surprise me if the devs also lied about OMW not being an EXE replacement. This is just my opinion though since I've become distrustful of the entire EXE dev team recently. Especially people like MarStarBro and Jackie (Mar pretty much lied about dev self-inserts, backtracked on it and tried to blame Avery and Com on RUclips, but only blamed Avery on Twitter. Jackie not only released the fake 2.5 Sonic.exe mod update that leaks your IP, but also was the one who drew the encore menu sprites for the mod. The ones which scribbled over Divide's work and had Sunky pissing on it.)

And honestly, Mar is still 15, he's BOUND to make fuck ups, and things were probably getting to him in some way. The vocals of the Leaked Version are the best versions in my opinion. It sounds deep and slow, exactly the type of vocals someone as gruff as Knuckles should have.
my horizon started good then as it kept getting sent back in fourth till it was turned into a faker remix then an encore version concept and finally our horizon is like the ultimate mashup of the wechnia,obsolete,final and armydallo mix to make a good version and what I now think along with final mix to be the definitive version of my horizon

The first version is my favorite as it has good buildup and the second half sounds like you Are battling an insane being. The constantly repeating melody met by this insane broken being really caught me. The first jester revocalization wasn't too bad at the start but was horrid at the second part. The scrapped (not unfinished) remix of it just felt too lacking in the second half. The illegal version I am mid on with the second half but the being sounds desperate, resigning what it did before it was corrupted, trying to return to normalcy or at least mimic it.
regardless of what you have to say about revie, at least she understood how to direct a fucking project, oh my good lord. like, i know it's a mod about one of the diciest online communities i've ever seen, but wowza the new directors for .exe 3.0 sucked ass at doing it 💀💀💀 and even regardless of what you have to say about .exe 2.5/3.0/why-the-fuck-did-they-work-on-two-updates-at-once as a whole, there was a lot of actually good content in the mod that absolutely deserved to at least have a spot in a finished mod, there's just way too much.

I personally like Our Horizon more than armydillo take on it. While the beginning is still the same, it's the 2nd that I like the most. Cause it's more like Wedcidna is having fun rapping with bf than just having them have a fight to the death. More so, our horizon stands in its presentation than just how the song is heard since there's not a lot of mods where it's just bf or some oc just jamming out to some tunes.

Rightburst was the 1.0/1.5 director, Revie was the 2.0 and used to be 2.5/3.0 director, MarStarBros was the new director for 2.5/3.0 ever since Revie was called out for the "supposed things". And now that the mod is cancelled, The rerun had an old director until RIGHTBURST decides to take the fucking director role and ruined it all once again. Not to mention that the QNA, he managed to convince people to hate revie. And also his "I got no comment"

I love how the devs try to claim there was no replacement for Faker/EXE/Whatever you wanna call em' but like... the several versions of My Horizon contradict that lmfao.
1. Not necessarily the song itself, but Wechidna is literally just a Knuckles version of EXE, even down to the artstyle.
2. Marstarbro's version of My Horizon is obviously a repurposed version of EXE's first song, Faker.
3. Armydillo's mix LITERALLY has a Faker reference in the first half, like, come the fuck on.
Now, I know that these songs were all scrapped for a reason (except Armydillo's mix, which is being repurposed for another mod), but here's the thing. The .exe devs were claiming that there was no EXE replacement, even *_BEFORE_* the first known My Horizon mix was leaked, so that argument doesn't just fall apart, but completely SHATTERS.
I don't know if you notice this but chaotix (phase 2) poses were kinda similar to the ones that EXE had for Black Sun
Almost each individual dev from the team has been exposed for so much shit, amongst them straight up stealing a lot of Revie's ideas despite their supposedly disgust and offense towards her person (despite all being just a massive framing with no evidence).

i REALLY don't understand the hate for the "Obsolete" mix of this song. I think all versions are fantastic, and yeah the obsolete version isn't my favorite out of the 4, but i still think its great. I like the vocals a lot, and personally i think they fit the character really really well. this is going to sou d weird, but they have this perfect "gross" kinda scratchy feel to them that just gives the song a completely different mood compared to the rest. usually people don't use gross as a compliment but i just did. or well at least the first part's vocals are like that in my opinion, monster form is meh... although i've never really been a huge fan of the second half of the song. Anyways, great songs!
Man I kinda feel the same way! Like dude I would have put a more light 8-bit crunch effect to the vocals to make it sound scratched so it could kinda fit in with a more Genesis theme, more heavier reverb could have worked too to make wechidna seem bigger than his 1st form. Some changes to the instrumentals like more a more chip tune mixed with some Sega Genisis and Sega Saturn tunes but I can't do remixes right now so I don't know if this would sound creepy, moderate, or just plain goofy

Not only was the Wechidna Mix went unused, it wasn't only because Rightburst got kicked, it was also because the song was leaked, hence, they replaced Wechidna with Chaotix
I think my favorite is whechidna’s mix, leaving you to believe he’s knuckles, as sort of a false sense of security, then it completely hatches out, contorting itself and it’s own skin!
But of course, it was held to controversy and ultimately scrapped.
I also prefer this one because it’s the first and the base setting stone for the rest.

Armydillo's version is the best one by far. The 1st part sounds so tranquil and the 2nd part while it's not as chaotic, is so much of a banger. Don't get me wrong, the other versions have their charms and i found them good, but this version is fantastic
Edit: Also I like how Our horizon is kinda mixed between the first 3 and Armydillo's, where the 1st part is the final mix, and the 2nd part sounds like armydillo's a bit (not as chaotic)

Fun Fact: Wechidna was made by Rightburst by directly ripping off Faker. That ain't even a joke either. ComGaming in a leaked DM literally showed screenshots showed him designing Wechidna just to be like Faker, but with Knuckles. For someone who shits on Revie and her creations so much, he seems to be very inspired by them. I'm not saying this to change anyone's mind on Revie or the recent info either. Joke or not, it seems suspicious that they would suddenly create OMW specifically for the FNF mod and make his design similar to EXE's true form if it was just a joke. And considering I also heard people try to say Hog/Scorched wasn't a replacement when Jack literally said he made Hog for the FNF mod (and the striking similarities of Scorched to EXE's true form) it wouldn't surprise me if the devs also lied about OMW not being an EXE replacement.
This is just my opinion though since I've become distrustful of the entire EXE dev team recently. Especially people like MarStarBro and Jackie (Mar pretty much lied about dev self-inserts, backtracked on it and tried to blame Avery and Com on RUclips, but only blamed Avery on Twitter. Jackie not only released the fake 2.5 Sonic.exe mod update that leaks your IP, but also was the one who drew the encore menu sprites for the mod. The ones which scribbled over Divide's work and had Sunky pissing on it.)

The first version is my favorite as it has good buildup and the second half sounds like you Are battling an insane being. The constantly repeating melody met by this insane broken being really caught me. The first jester revocalization wasn't too bad at the start but was horrid at the second part. The scrapped (not unfinished) remix of it just felt too lacking in the second half. The illegal version I am mid on with the second half but the being sounds desperate, resigning what it did before it was corrupted, trying to return to normalcy or at least mimic it.

Cause it's more like Wedcidna is having fun rapping with bf than just having them have a fight to the death.
