- It's never a bad idea to get a winch installed on your machine. They can come in handy more times then not, especially if you are one to ride alone at times. SuperATV offers a legit winch mounting bracket that allows you the option to install a 4500lb or 5000lb winch onto your RZR Pro XP.

My winch is wound the other way. Do I just wind it back the other way to make it right? And would I have to switch the positive and negative wires?
Just got mine today and it’s the same way.
Mine was wound the other way as well. Pulled the line out and respooled it. Switched the wires at the winch as well.
What did you end up doing.. Mine is same way
@@wesleyjunkin2445 I believe I switched the wires and respooled the winch
At 20:00, you show the Pulse Busbar Plug already disconnected- and attach the orange wire keyed- on power source to the red rocker switch wire. Can you explain this in more detail? My wires from the pulse plug are wrapped and connected elsewhere….

@@SuperATVMedia I finally realized that you are using a NEW pulse plug (not included with the kit), rather than connecting to an existing pulse plug with wires "going elsewhere" as mentioned above. I ordered the new pulse plug from your site. Should be good, as long as I understand that I'm only using the orange wire and the other two wires are not grounded/connected - per a superatv video. Sound correct?
2- I also ran my red/black winch cables to my battery, rather than connecting them to the red/black poles on the busbar. Does that matter?
No need to go direct to battery?
Why aren’t my plastics aligning correctly now after putting everything back together 😡
I read from a comment that I could fit a 5500 on my 22 pro xp but after the install I’m finding that my front trim Lower bolts won’t match up because the winch is wider/thicker than the 4500. Kinda lame but no turning back now.
My winch from you all did not come with that winch mount. It’s much smaller
The mount has been updated since the video however the install is the same.
Do I need to buy the winch mounting plate that doesn’t come with the winch? And does a rocket switch come with the 4500 poking version winch?
So those the orange wire coming off of the pulse plug connects to the red wire on the rocker switch, but the two other wires coming off of the pulse plug do not connect to anything?
Same question. Did you find an answer?
At 6:15 does that winch mount come with the purchase of the winch or is it separate?
Need some help guys. I lost my remote to the winch and installed new solenoid but when I go to winch in or out the solenoid just keeps clicking and not doing anything so I sent that one back got a new one and it’s doing the same thing so I’m sure it isn’t the solenoid

Is this the same for the Pro R?
No, this kit is quite different from the ProR.
@@SuperATVMedia Hmm just wondering because there no instructions what so ever.
What’s the part number for that rocker switch.
SKU: LTS-013 rocker switch
SKU: APH-P-RAN1K accessory plug for pulse bar
have not been able to find their wiring harness for the switch though...
Here is a link to all our winch accessories.: www.superatv.com/black-ops-winch-replacement-parts
What your after is the dash mounted rocker switch.
How do you do it without the pulse plug
What is the brand of the scissor lift you are using?
