WOW!!!! There are NO other words!! Otis is smiling down right now!!!! Otis was 20 years old, I think, when he released this song. We’ve lost WAY TOO MANY singer song writers in plane crashes!! We lost 3 (I believe) in the’50’s in 1 crash, 1 in the ‘60’s & 2 in the ‘70’s & 1 in the ‘80’s. Most of them with their band members. It’s very sad to me that most of them wrote what I call story songs. They put their heart & soul into their writing & performance. They made me feel their pain or happiness. I miss them all!! I think I miss the music that they didn’t get a chance to write the most!! 😢😞☹️ 🙏🏼🥺❤️🕊🐾
There’s a really fun group out of the UK that does a lot of great covers called The Vintage Explosion. If you do check them out, I HIGHLY recommend their cover of “A Change is Gonna Come.” The lead singer knocks it out of the park!
would love to hear you cover something by Eva Cassidy. …possibly “Over the Rainbow”, “Songbird, or “You Take My Breath Away”. Such an amazing voice. Unfortunately, She passed away in 1996 from cancer.
Dat man can cover a song! Question, would you consider reacting to an alternative rock song called "Zion" from the band My Epic? This song has been used as the bride walks down the aisle in some weddings. The lyrics show a beautiful picture of longing to be whole in God, (similar to what Mary told Matthew in The Chosen in episode 7), and the music is pretty great too.
