Nina is not perfect but the reason Ru and everyone loves her: She was herself. That's mostly all Ru wants out of someone on the show. And she was a true original. She is unique and was even pretty much knighted by Gaga as someone special.

I wish nina knew how much people love her. My best friend is a little straight boy who has never cared about drag in his life and he genuinely related to her. Shes not just the first drag queen he's related to but one of the first people in general. We both cried when she got sent home. She wasn't annoying on the show, she was raw, she was real, and she showed her true self. People don't get what she's going through so they think she's complaining or being shady. But if you have been through the things she's been through then you know that shit isn't true at all. Thank you Nina we love you.
kiwikitty that is THE only thing I hope she gets out of this whole experience, if she only gets one thing - if you followed her even a slight bit before the show, she got a lot of hate thrown her way in comments online.. I really hope she realizes that those assholes are just, generally, louder but there''s just as many people out there that love the shit out of her, too! I have seen the same assholes throughout her run on the show, but I've seen a lot of people come to really like her and every time I see comments like yours, it melts my heart for her!! I know she's likely to see it, she is a petty hoe!!

So you do give them compliments and kind words hoping maybe it'll plant a seed that they are amazing. You just want to help that person who's struggling in anyway you can and sometimes people say cliche things but it doesn't mean they don't mean it. Don't be so rude and judgemental ya know??

I'm going to reference another queen but hear me out. If... Miss Fame is really the top of the game (well, as far as I see) when it comes to makeup... she should do Nina's face. I think she'd turn it out as long as she really researched her tones and colors (which I know she would). Can you imagine? But anyway... she reminds me of struggles that I deal with as far as my self confidence. I think she relates to A LOT of the fan base more then ANY other Queen. Love her❤️.

It speaks to me that Nina spent most of this interview explaining herself. I do the same exact thing and it gives me hope that I can still be successful! I see so much of myself in her and I’ve never been so attached to someone. Nina is a real person and I love it! Nina will never see this or know me, but has helped me soooooo much.

it is a weird paranoia that builds a wall around you out of fear to be hurt and i feel like that could be the case with her

It’s happening to you!” 😭 we love you both so much, thank you for not only your hard work and talent but for your kindness and vulnerability.

Yes! Nina's serving all the Adventure Time realness! Such a cool, creative and beautiful person. Nina and Valentina were two of my favorites this season.
Ms. Nina, if you ever read this, know that it was so good to see someone being real about their issues, because we all have them, in one way or another. We're all human. There's this woman preacher I like, her name is Christine Caine. She's been through a lot in her life and has been helping people to overcome and grow from the pain in their past (she has books out there, but there are also videos of her all over RUclips). Anyways, just wanted you to know that you are loved the way you are and I'm sure we are all rooting for you to overcome whatever you feel might be holding you back. I'm sending you love from Brazil and wishing you the best things!

I've said it on many other social media forums, but I completely empathize with how she feels. Her feelings and emotions and how she deals with situations is so so sooo relatable to not only me, but many other people. You have dreams, ideas, and aspirations of what you want and how you want to feel, but there is a wall. There is something getting in your way of achieving how you desire to be. I am seriously inspired by Nina. She is so unique, and no one on drag race, or any queen out there tbh can paint her face and create a character like she does. She is very real and handled the spotlight great. Everybody say love
she's real. she is beauty personified. in her flaws I find more beauty.. her self consciousness, self doubting, needing reassurance and confidence boosters is what we all need from time to time. the fact that she gave a voice to those of us who have depression or anxiety is huge for all of us. she's like me. and I love her.

yup...she needs to get help. Mental wounds are not visible to the eye and they are just as important as physical wounds.
Depression is a health issue in and of itself, it should be treated as one. Plus sometimes it's a symptom of health issues outside the brain (thyroid issues, celiac disease, and many many more) (and sometimes inside the brain like OCD or ADHD etc.). So there's a multitude of reasons to get that shit checked out.
this is why I love Nina so much she is truly an amazing and extremely talented Queen and I know she is going to continue to slay the haters with her talent and although her Drag Race journey has ended her real journey has just begun I know she will be successful so world get ready for Nina BoNina slayin the kids Brown.
Swear, Nina is such an icon! I love her and her emotions! This interview was actually really awesome, cause it got to show more of her personality that we didn't see on the show. So excited for whatever she does next!

A true artist is someone who can make art out of two sticks and a rubber band. Nina is an artist and used drag as her medium. You can have a 30k camera or all the expensive products in the world, but that CAN'T buy you creativity and talent! Genius artist have made masterpieces in all mediums and genres out of low to no budget at all and that is the mark of a true artist. So Nina, keep doing you and I hope you can gain more confidence and love.

For everyone giving Jonny hate, I do think he handled this interview really well. A guest getting introspective and talking about struggling and feeling overwhelmed from the jump would not be easy but he kept it afloat and was encouraging without being obnoxious or fake. Good for Jonny.
I think it was her time to go. She was too much in her head. I do really hope she'll be on an all stars. I think she'll be ready now that she'll know what to expect.

I met Nina the other night at Parliament house in Orlando, and had to give her a hug and tell her how much i understood her and love her.. she was very sweet and exactly what you see in front of you. Glad to see all of the lovely comments here for her. Depression is something I think most of us have experienced on some level, and its hard to overcome.

I love Nina SO SO SO much. In her Whatcha Packing video, she thanked Michelle too, and I just thought it was so sweet. She's so vulnerable and authentic, and you can just tell that she is humble and appreciates all of this. She just warms my little cold dead heart
God I love Nina. She is by far (for me) the most relatable person that's ever been on rpdr. I think that's why so many of us gravitate towards her, because she feels a lot of the things most of us have felt at one time or another. She's also very honest with who she is and it's super refreshing. I'm wishing her the best because I think she deserves it.
Hey Nina, I have depression and struggle with the inner critic every day, so when you were on the show it reminded me I wasn't alone and that I could struggle with all of that and still have fabulous and amazing moments.
