I'm a recovered addict, and hearing detox talk about her/his sobriety in season 5 and his/her struggles with addiction, it felt so good to hear someone so talented and amazing like Detox could over come that. It showed me that I could do it too. I'm a little over one year sober now, but back then I was still in active addiction. ( I came late to the Rupaul's drag race game it took me some time to watch all the later seasons.) Detox really pushed me to get sober. Seeing her/him now?! WOW!! I'm 26 and have been feeling really down about never living out on my own and all that. But to see Detox doing it at a "later" age, makes me have hope for myself. That it's ok that you came late to the game of life, just do your best. I hope I can see her live one day! Love you Detox!!!!
So happy and proud of her! And so glad to hear her say that she's happy. I do agree with her when she said she didn't understand why people thought she was third place on All Stars 2. She was the solid, unshakeable first runner of that season. I think a lot of people like to associate the Drag Race crown with likability when they say Katya would have and should have won, but Detox SLAYED that season, surpassed only by Alaska. It makes me sad when people try to discredit her or downplay her achievements just because they didn't like what she did with the elimination. She's one of the best by far!

She was sooooooooooo fucking good and consistently underrated. She consistently murdered all the other queens with her run way looks and she was consistently top 3 in just about all challenges. Love her. We don't deserve a queen as good as her.

there's a reason why half of all stars 2's cast was from season 5. literaly the entire top 6 was so sickening they had to be brought back.
