basically to summarise, the dance is about bullying (obviously) and they represented how the girl in white was different. she was peer pressured into being the same but they still bullied her. the white paint signifies the damage they did to her and when a dancer takes her neck, that’s when the bullied one is gone. one dancer said that they wanted to become teachers to help children and the girl crying was explaining why she wanted to become a teacher (her past experiences). in the music itself, there was a part with whispers. those whispers included the phrases bullies used to make a victim scared like “i was just messing” “you wouldn’t want everyone to know about this, would you?”. hope that helps :)
This shows you how much dance can show emotion and tell a story. Because many of us don’t even speak or understand this language, yet many of us still cried or got emotional from the performance. Very well done ❤️
this performance is so powerful, it really shows that dance is an universal language🙏🏻 i was moved to tears, good job to all of the dancers for letting the audience experience this!!
Even i didn't understand what they talked, I felt like i understand it really well. Not only the dance but the things they talked and it made me cry🥺❤ i never experienced bullying in my country actually but i felt this💙
Using the school lunch tables as a prop shows another side of how peer pressure can be involved in bullying in school. But teachers hate us doing stuff like this to expose them for choosing the side of the bully instead of the victim and what can happen.
SEEING A GROUP OF PEOPLE PERFORM ON A "BULLY THEME "IN WHICH HAD NEVER BEEN DONE BEFORE IN EACH AND EVERY STAGE AND BEING INGNORED ON THE FACT THAT BULLY IS AN ACT OF CRIME,HURTING,TORTURING OTHER BREAKS ME MORE THAN THE ACT ITSELF AND THIS IS WHAT WE CALLED AN ART WITHOUT SAYING A WORD JUST PURE EMOTION IN IT MAKES IT MORE OF AN AMAZING PERFORMANCE....GOD BLESS AND KEEP ON GOING!.
The sad part is that he was crying because he may know what it feels like.....😔😔😢 But heads off to all those dancers for expressing the feelings and emotions of being bullied so clearly and let the whole world see what right and wrong.....🥺🥺 Great job guys☺️☺️👍🏻
I really relate to the message they try to say it's really hard when someone bullying you, abouse you, and your trying to fight with depression, anxiety you have but how when the people around don't appreciate you,, it's really sad it's happened to me and here I am fighting all along try to live I hope it will fine soon. 🖤
He suddenly remembered what he went through with the performance… don’t ever bully someone. What if that same thing happens to you can you stand it and take it anymore? Don’t ever ever .. don’t ever don’t that
Even though I watched it before I didn’t expect to cry so much. I didn’t feel anything until the very end and the emotion inside me just bursted out of nowhere. Dance truly is a beauty we were all blessed with.
I didn't need to know what they were saying I could feel every everything they were delivering. Amazing performance, it took me on a ride full of emotions 👏👏👏
This is what I understand. This dance is about bullying and they wanted to be teachers. One of the judges ask why they wanted to be teachers. And one of the dancers answered that the reason she wanted to be a teacher because she too had been bullied at one point and she tried/could not seek help, so she wanted to be a teacher so she could help those children that are bullied. (tell me if I am wrong, because I know Mandarin but I know basics only).
I love communication through art!!!! You don’t have to speak the same language to understand what this dance is saying. Im bawling 😭😭😭 incredible performance!
I just found this video, i can't speak mandarin, i don't understand what they're saying at all. But, i run out my breath. Crying over of my memories, when my class mate kick my back, when my cousin say to her friend that i am her poor but 'want to look smart' cousin just because i joint the literature club, when i am in a science class. I never knew it still hurt me after a long long time.
Eu não entendo a letra da música e nem o que foi dito por eles, mas acho que quando se trata de arte feita com todo o coração, as barreiras lingüísticas não são nada, elas caem por terra. Me emocionei muito vendo a performance. 💜💜
This is what I love about true Art. I don't need to speak Chinese to understand the message. Props. I'm surprised how many comments here are in english tho, didn't expect that.
The music & entertainment industry is one of the most bullying ones in the world. The judges & others have obviously all experienced bullying which is why they're so moved. And even the famous then, especially idols, wind up being bullied by their fans. Brilliant dance & performance.
I was crying watching this. It's sad to see them work so hard to make music and perform for us for them to get negative comments. We should appreciate all the hard work they do just for us. 💔❤️🩹
Hai👋 I'm divya.. I'm really really cried so much. But I'm personally say to the this performance about that the Usually places and languages is not important to ours but feelings and emotions is touch to our hearts and never changed that the feelings and emotion's in any time and any where. this is my opinion but I don't no yours opinions but thank you ..🤗😚☺
the girl was bullied before so she was crying, she shared that the bullying changed her life so much, then the judges below felt sorry for her so they all gave her and her groupmates a hug
@@xyxy17 The performance was beautiful but theirs one thing I don't understand. At the end, her clothes turn black just like the rest of them. Then they go and paint her white again. Why? 2:38
@@zaccariadiggs3656it’s a different girl. she was initially one of the bullies but when she removed her blindfold - i think it was a symbolism that she wouldn’t turn a “blind” eye to the bullying anymore. So when they painted her white, it was symbolism to show that she’ll be the next target of bullying if she keeps her eyes open (so they covered it again).
It was the same girl. You can see that they tore her white clothes off in the circle when they show the camera shot from above. The dancers being in the circle around her is to hide clothing change. It was like a “quick change” type of thing, if that makes sense. It’s to show that she was peer pressured into acting the same as everyone else, but in the end, it doesn’t change anything. She still gets bullied and it’s too much for her. The bullies “win” when she can’t take it anymore and ends her own life.
At some point I started feeling it's all my fault for getting...nobody stood for me for them it's a little joke...I don't know but literally during that time even I want to say no the words wouldn't come out of my mouth...she used to say we are friends...and literally mentally exhausted...it's been years but still sometimes I do have bad dreams...times I don't want to remember...i forgot what I used to be like before meeting her...and after meeting her...I hate that time...during our second last year of school she changed her school...maybe for me it was the most relieving moment after 2 years of torture...most of it I had forgotten...because we should keep good memories rather than bad memories in our heart and free ourselves..
