Best winter vehicle for your high schooler? - 2006 Saturn Vue V6

My first car, a 2006 Saturn Vue V6. This FWD SUV got me through everything here that could come up with these Minnesota winters.. Purchased for $4000 with 42,000 miles on it, drove it for 3 1/2 to 4 years, then sold it for ~$6000!

I’ve got the exact same vehicle, but with the AWD system. Your gas mileage was WAY better than mine; I guess that’s the price paid for the weight of the AWD system. Great looking Vue!!

AWD where snow exists is great! Gets you going faster. Tires make a big difference as well.

2005 Equniox, 2006 torrent and 2006 Vue are all good Frist cars

Absolutely! But the V6 Vue is a step above in my opinion with the Honda drivetrain

Leather was in great condition, had 40k miles when I put those cloth protectors on - made the leather not so cold in the winter.. I'd actually say that those seats were mint.

Purchased on Amazon! Was a BOSS radio, then I purchased a Bezel that fit in just perfectly.

This was a FWD V6, but I never had any issues getting around on the snowy Minnesota roads when I had my blizzak winter tires on.

I averaged 25-26MPG during my use of about 40,000 miles. My usual commute was 14 miles at 60mph down the freeway, and two stoplights.
