Just received my ESR phone case put it together, pulled the plastic protector off the front, and the front screen protector is cracked. So much for the military grade phone protection!!!
ESR is a solid case, but I don’t think it tops Tech 21 yet. Tech 21 has a similar yet more reputable design known for protection but no bulk. I haven’t tried or accidentally dropped my phone since trying the ESR case, but we’ll see how it holds up compared to a Tech 21 case, which does its job.
The soft silicone case is a huge lint/dust magnet. Wouldn't recommend if you don't want to be cleaning it off every time you remove it from your pocket.

What makes me buy from ESR over and over is that their cases have the best MagSafe strength of any I’ve tried. I use either a MagSafe PopSocket or PopWallet nearly always. In the car I stick it to an MagSafe mount. Every other brand I’ve tried just never feels secure in the same way ESR’s HaloLock stuff does. They all advertise strong magnets or whatever, but it’s just not true. Cases that cost 2-3x what ESR’s do just slide off.

I wouldn’t use the screen built in protector because it got scratches and dirty pretty fast ,maybe a week of used then it looks all messed up ,I’d rather use my old temper glass and take off the built in one.
The problem with that built in screen protector is that it's not made of glass like other tempered glass protectors. Its made of plastic. And in the long run it will definitely affect the touch sensitivity of the phone which is the last thing you want. So its better to use your own tempered glass

Do not buy! I used this for 6 months and the stand came off the case showing the glue underneath! Supposedly 12 months warranty covered for quality issue but ESR claimed it is wear and tear and no warranty!
I would want to have one with the stand but I don’t know how it will last with a couple drops I’ve purchased some low price cases that have protected my phone great but the Stand breaks after a few drops

This case is very hard to take on and very hard to take off and I don’t like how it has gaps in the buttons. Otherwise it’s a good case.
