LAKE SAVAGE is CHAD SHAKESPEARE and EASY GIRL.
Composed and produced by rj lake: / spellbang
Lyrics and vocals by Xalavier Nelson, Jr.
I like the implication that james is trying to figure out who the void is feeding off but its both of them in radically different ways and the soundtrack is james in his most unguarded, deluded, myopic mind reflected back.
One of the strongest early impressions of any indie shooter I've ever seen. Hearing this while John Woo-ing through hordes of vampires had me grinning ear to ear
It's James savage
its so cool that its the main character voice rapping, its so deadpool
This song hit so hard. I had no idea it was coming. HOLY SHIT! Adrenaline fuel, FR!
The OST elevates this game to another realm
Who knew we-d get a Max Payne inspired indie goodie this year? This game rules.
this is whether you get sold on the game or instantly refund it
i'm glad to be the former
After I played the game, I immediately looked up the ost. This is my favorite song ever!
Just heard this for the fist time and had to seek it out to hear it again. Certified banger!
Took me a second, but it’s a song from the POV from a mass shooter, which is hilariously disturbing.
right up until the cutoff. theres a reason the "main voice" cuts out.
@@LazyDogJumper I think the cutoff, followed by police sirens btw, is the exact moment it cuts to the shooter having been killed. which still is very disturbing @lazydogjumper
@@SifuSatoru. I believe that is the implication. The lyrics mention cops surrounding etc.
Just think for a moment about why the voice suddenly cuts out during the the loudspeaker portion shortly after "cops surrounding think they can make me stop"
we got clipping at home (we eatin good)
It’s so ridiculously edgy.
I love it.
You this song was made because of that airport level
what?
?
Are you referring to Max Payne 3’s airport song Tears?
@@sauceyvirg1n910 I think they mean No Russian. The dude is basically talking mass shooting from the "gift from the lockbox"
😍
this shouldnt hit so hard but it does
Whut do shooting cops have to do with demons and vampires? honest question. 😅
I dig the song, but I think it's just mastered strangely. Like, the voice and the music don't really meld well.
Haven’t played the game yet. But from what I’ve seen of it, and from playing El Paso: Nightmare I think it’s intentional. Possibly to reinforce the odd, surreal alternate world the main character is fighting through. And then that sense that something feels off is then transposed onto the player.
If it were any other game I also would have chalked it up to just bad mixing as well. But with this one I don’t think that’s the case.
Songs dope but ong the final boss line is cringe
TRUE
if they just, took that out i don't think no one would complain
corny asf true, but the song is so damn banging
I think I kinda like it? adds to the charm for me I guess
That's the point. It's about a mass shooter. It's not supposed to be 100% hype. It's supposed to be hype until you listen hard enough. See also, Shooter by clipping.
@@robertrockwell8995that's fair
like the beat, but the lyrics and vocal delivery makes me cringe hard
Song is literally about a mass shooter its supposed to be cringe
That is the point.
Bloodhound Gang and Cake banged Prodigy and made a sick game soundtrack, freaking awesome!
Honestly, its less clever than Bloodhound Gang, less rythmic than Cake, and less rough than Prodigy but I recognize what you are referencing!
@@LazyDogJumperbloodhound gang if it was recorded by deaf people
