Hello hello, thanks for the how to play! Great level of detail, one little suggestion though, when you gloss over information in an initial overview, could you make a point of stating that you will get into a more detailed breakdown later on in the video? I found myself pausing and rewinding to better grasp the info, but then found you would go into it at greater length further along. Quack!
Hi, could you please add a reminder to like the vid sometimes in the middle. I really tend to forget liking the vid even if I truly like it. This will help me (us) not forget to like and jump directly to the next one without doing it. Thanks 😉
The flow chart on Chapter 17 of the rulebook says the turn player has the the privilege of choosing which player takes their last gasp first. (The blue box in the flow chart).
I've only played once and it definitely felt flat - we had no weapons, no health cards, no possibility to string cards along. It just felt like the deck wasn't well balanced to make interesting gameplay, it was just struggle after struggle. Also I think you can figure the other person out quite quickly, so not too much deduction. I'll give it some more plays and include the expansions, but so far not a great first impression.
There is some luck involved. The expansions add depth and the more you play the more you get comfortable with the language of the cards. It's not for everyone but it's one of West's favorite games of all time.
bro where ya been? seems like you've been on hiatus for a few days. was expecting some big new video about something and end up with this? you doing ok? Love the content keep up the hardwork.
Mantis Falls was the KS that introduced me to your channel. Love to see you returning to it.
It's a beauty
Amazing game!!! Still remember your video before Kickstarter.
Thank the universe, you are still alive 😁🤪 2 player content even, that's a bonus ;)
I bought this game on your recommendation. I haven't played it yet, but I'm looking forward to my first game. Thanks for posting this How To. 👍
Thank you! I have this game on my shelf of opportunity and I appreciate your overview. It was very helpful. 😊

I don’t know if any social deduction game can beat MindMGMT, but this looks like it’s got a shot!
That’s not a social deduction game; that’s just a deduction game lol. I believe “hidden movement” is usually the genre it’s given.
@@meathir4921 4p vs the Recruiter gets pretty social in my games hahahahah, but fair point.
It's a fabulous game. If you have that friend that loves social deduction and is into subterfuge, this one might be right for you.
I Love this game. A Social deduction game for a small player count? Yes Please!
One of the best
What happens when there is an event that push all 2 players health to maximum at the same time? Would they be playing their last gasps together?

I love Mantis Falls.
On my very first play I managed to kill the assassin with a car bomb... 😅
Quack
I found this game really hard to survive just walking down the road....this makes it too easy for the assassin to finish off the other witness.
Where can you even find that expansion?
If you mean the modules ("Triad", "Full Circle" and "Under the Rose"), those are all included in every box of Mantis Falls.
Am I the only one who hears a loud heartbeat in my head whenever going into a last gasp? 💓
Nope. Not at all

Love this game. Arguably my favorite game.

High holidays make filming challenging at times. West just onboarded fulltime. There is a lot going on. Thanks for checking in. It means a lot.
Not interested in a gameplay of this at all but wanted to say that thumbnail is an absolute banger! Keep up the great work Jesse
Glad you like it!

Ty for this video!
Quack
Unfortunately this one was a big miss for us
Sad to hear that. Not every game works for everyone.
