I'm glad you've started with watching full tasks. Some of the clip compilations only show a single person's attempt and I think the real magic is watching how all five players compare to each other in a single task. Certainly there's fun in watching a compilation of all the disqualifications or of all the people finding loopholes, but it loses the impact when you don't see everyone's go.
I'm with you Basil.. compilations can be fun but it takes away from the subtleties and in-jokes that makes this show so special. I guess we'll see how this video performs and what everyone's general thoughts are for how we do more Taskmaster reactions. I'm considering recording full episodes, but then choosing the best segments to edit into reaction videos.. that way we get to understand the nuances of the whole program, while the reaction videos focus on the best parts :) Thanks for your comment!
@@filmslate recording full tasks and then best segments would be great way to do it, because then you'll get all the inside jokes during the episode and season going along. And the occasional call back to previously seasons.
Doc Brown is one of the most underrated contestants on Taskmaster. His 'harsh' at the end cracks me up every time. Oh My Goodness, you've fallen into the rabbithole that is Taskmaster. Welcome to the Madhatter's Party! There are so many classic series of this it's hard to pick any of them - even the not-quite-so-good series had nuggets of gold. In recent series, try watching some Victoria Coren Mitchell (David Mitchell's oh so smart wife) solving a puzzle or having to learn to ride a bike in five minutes. Plus the most recent series (14) was one of the best ever - there was excellent banter between the contestants on that one, particularly when four of them ganged up on the fifth. Which happened a lot and made the bits in the studio as hilarious as the tasks themselves. And Claudia Winkleman appeared on the New Year's Treat II, a one-off episode shown on 1 Jan 2022. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
We sure have Caroline! Thanks for all the suggestions haha it really is a deep rabbit hole! I've gathered that we are going to miss way too many inside jokes on the show if we jump around and watch the highlights.. So Im thinking we will go back to S01E01 and watch the full episode, we'll react to it as usual, but with the intention of only making reaction videos out of the best tasks.. So each episode may have 3-4 reaction videos from the tasks, and maybe some episodes may only get 1 or even 0.... that way we get all the inside jokes along the way, while still producing the most fun reaction videos that we can :) So, in short, expect plenty of taskmaster to come! Wow thankyou Nina for your detailed ideas! I definitely get the vibe from everyone in the comments that we are just missing out on inside jokes and the player dynamics if we jump around to random clips and seasons. This is what I think we we do, and by all means I'd love to hear your insights on if this seems like a good plan.. We are going to go back to S01E01, and watch the episode in full, reacting away and chatting as we normally would. By the end of the episode, we have potentially 5 tasks to make up to 5 reaction videos to upload on the channel. But instead of uploading all 5 just for the sake of it, we can have a threshold of if we found the clip funny enough/if we felt we added enough value to feel it was worth creating an individual clip from it. So some episodes may turn out to have 3-4 reaction videos, and some episodes may just have 1 reaction from it. Im thinking if we do it this way, we are catching all the inside jokes as we go along, still making videos that are maybe 10-15mins in length, and also cutting out some of the challenges that may not be "reaction worthy". YES Boskee!! I'm a Potato Truther as well!! Then it doesn't matter if Joe's shoe even touched the green or not.. it wasn't hit foot. #conspiracy
The way Doc Brown (Ben Bailey Smith) turns against Joe at the end and then basically lies to him about it is totally preparation for his role as Blevin in Andor!
For sure Flea! While editing I was thinking that if Richard can get away with stepping on some thin materials over the green, then the edge of Joe's shoe should be totally in play!
Why do you put your watermark over the video which isn't even yours. It's from task master yet the whole clip has your water mark, and the video is tiny as your face cams take up most of the room, to the point were you can barely see the clip. If your worried about it your video being stolen then your watermark is in the top right. I see no reason for you to cover the clip with it
Hey Dom! Oh it's not at all there because we think our video will be stolen, it's more of an added deterrent for people watching the clips for the first time through our channel. The video's focus is a couple of random Aussies reacting to UK content, so it's really for people who have seen these clips before and are specifically looking for reaction clips to them. The big watermarks are there so people who are seeing these clips for the first time are more inclined to go source the original clip. Cheers for the message mate, hope that clears it up for ya :D

Don't do Rhod Gilbert - yet. Watch some others first, then you can really appreciate his mastery of the game.
@Bernard Taylor That's a really good point actually. You should save Rhod for later... you're not ready for Rhod yet... 🤣
Good points guys, maybe we'll do all of season one to develop a baseline, then we can branch off to other seasons :D Thanks for the suggestions, much appreciated!
so a green sheet being stood on is ok but your shoes arent id just walk on and put in hole technically my shoes touching not any part of my body.
Im with you Dee.. If a sheet is fine to step on, then so are the shoes on your feet!
water melon, Anything with Rhod for starters
Sounds good mate, I'll pop them on the list... Cheers!
Love this it’s so funny than you so much 😂
You're welcome Katherine!
Joe was robbed. The curvature of the shoe means he never touched the red green. #PotatoTruthers
YES Boskee!! I'm a Potato Truther as well!! I would also like to add... if Richard was able to walk on materials which were on the green, using the argument that his feet never touched the green, the materials did.. Then it doesn't matter if Joe's shoe even touched the green or not.. it wasn't hit foot. #conspiracy
YEEEEESSsSSSss
Hahaha it's finally Taskmaster time Juliette! :D
The way Doc Brown (Ben Bailey Smith) turns against Joe at the end and then basically lies to him about it is totally preparation for his role as Blevin in Andor!
Hahaha, Doc Brown certainly feels like the unsung hero of this clip, he's so good in it :D
The more I see it...the more I hate Jon...
It was 100% legal... Note how Joe's shoes point upward and DON'T TOUCH THE RED GREEN...and still haven't...
Shoes and socks aren't actually parts of the human body. 👍✌️
Ooh girlie gonna cry , the feminist turns on the tears because of the boys .
