The soundcloud song description says: rest in peace, jocelyn, I will have my revenge upon the world No doubt it’s for Jocelyn. Genius has a lot of comments pointing out the fact it was for Jocelyn as well

I found this album within a few weeks of my first big breakup back in highschool. This album was my safe place if I was in a head storm of bad thoughts and feelings of depression/anxiety related to my relationship. The pace of the album is perfect and makes it so approachable, I would be trying to do homework and get through school while feeling and thinking terribly, so I'd pop on this album and lock in on my homework, just slightly numb to my emotional situation, just enough to keep my life moving. What a special album, glad you are getting into this.
Just for you to know all of X’s songs are short and he did this on purpose so people can keep wanting more and more. Not only was this a marketing strategy but he wanted his fans to get his raw emotions packed up in one simple track that’ll have you replaying it over and over again. X is one of those artists I went to when I wanted to be hyped or sad or when I just wanted to relax he could do it all and his music will never bore me out.
