  • In this short video, Bob reviews Carnivore Snax beef ribeye steak. With January being world carnivore month, it made us think of ways that someone could possibly stick to the carnivore diet either on the road, or in the backcountry. We realize most people would have to take out a loan to purchase enough of these to last a week, but you could easily make these at home with a dehydrator or freeze dryer. Thanks for watching!

Now I know why there wasn’t a price-point included. It looks really good but for $40 a bag and only getting 5 ozs, which is what 2-3 pieces? Is going to be a tough sell for the vast majority of folks.

It is definitely a spendy snack. But having one or two of those in the middle of a big 5+ day hunt would be so worth it in that moment. Not affordable to do daily but once or twice a trip it would be a great treat.

@@PNWild I have a deli meat slicer at home, wondering if I could use it in some ribeyes and give it a whirl myself.

@@Delmiester You could definitely do that! I would love to get a meat slicer myself and start doing that. Because these are just too expensive to buy a bunch of them.

@@PNWildUnfortunately you need to eat the whole bag within 3 days and refrigerator after opening. Just get a bag of beef jerky and you can do the same thing. Or better yet make a homemade bag of beef jerky and you can use much much less of whatever it is that you don't want in it

Man I need to try this snack. I usually just pack one frozen steak or something for a first night meal

Me and my brother tried these and they were nasty. He bought like five bags of them opened them and believe it or not his dogs didn't even want it and he has a pit bull! Gross interesting that it's supposed to be crunchy but your first bite was nowhere near a crunch. I heard the crunch after but... This has to be a paid advertisement or something. Why wouldn't you tell us after you eat the whole thing or in a real situation. Not on your table
