      Well.... I gotta chuckle at that one! At least it is an easy fix. You can use shock cord or any king of stretchy stuff to fix it if you don't have an O ring laying around...

    Do you know where I can get a new latch/L-plate w/hardware? I bought my GearUP used and the previous owner seems to have taken it out

      I looked at the parts catalog at IMZ-Ural.com and to my surprise, they don’t list one. They do sell the bottom box, which is PN IMZ-8.1040-24001-01 which may include the latch, but I would recommend getting in touch with Jon at Heindlengineering.com. He has a lot of parts laying around and he might be able to help. Good luck!
