Well said!!!! Love this message! Our issues shouldn’t be something that we let affect our kids. If we have a problem it’s our responsibility to deal with that issue and better ourselves. ❤
I couldn’t agree more. A messy house for a season of life is one thing, but most of the “messy” houses I’ve seen are filthy and unsafe. As a parent with ADHD/ASD, homeschooling three kids (one with ADHD, one with ADHD/ASD) our neurodivergence is managed SO much better when our environment is clean and organised. Having clutter and mess makes everything so much harder. I know a beautiful sister who talks about being neurodivergent as having a “superpower” rather than it being a hindrance and it’s true!
Although i think there is a reason to have a dirty house, such as mental illnesses , i fully agree.WE choose the kids so WE have to take care of them. I have adhd and i think you are right, seeking professional help is a must, because it can actually be ones strength if you know how to deal with it ❤
Exactly! That is an issue our children shouldn’t have to deal with. It’s our responsibility as parents to deal with our own issues and make changes to better ours and our children’s lives.
THANK YOU!! Children do not deserve to live in filth. It is our responsibility as parents to ensure they have a hygienic and safe place to grow up.
