- More venting about the clearance items my mom buys me when she goes out therapy shopping. She has to drive quite a ways to shop, so I guess she better make it worth her while. Now, we bought her an adult trike with a basket on the back, so she can go garage saling and get exercise at the same time. And, also, she can legally drink and drive.

Mary grew up near Webster, WI, but currently lives in MN during the "warm" months and, as she puts it, "winters" in places like L.A. If you wanna hear her at her honest best, listen to her WTF interview with Marc Maron; her accent alone is worth the price of admission, but her honest (if punchy... get some sleep, girl!) delivery was refreshing. Oh ya, don't ya know?

@ComradeCrusty haha when listening to her on WTF I at first thought it may be a Maria Bamford bit. But after a while it was quite obvious, she's quite different from her. She's truly unique. Just as Maria is.

@Palomera182 I don't think so. There are similarities: Both have similar voices, both are funny, both are pretty, but that's where the similarities end really.

@@mitchjones2821 Wrong. Too much of a gimmick with the voice and the "folksy" Minnesota humor. Kathleen Madigan is funny and Tammy Pescatelli is hilarious, so there. "Dying is easy, comedy is hard."
@@mahmoudibnemir8704 I don't think it's a "gimmick" at all; it's just her being who she really is--cute and funny. I agree with you about Kathleen Madigan, though. She's hilarious. Very different styles but, both adorable and funny in their own way. Just my 2 cents.
A not as good copy of Maria Bamford
It's always hilarious when people say she's a knock off of Maria Bamford. It's like you people haven't heard of Georgia Engel, who was doing this 40 years ago.
It's impossible to have more than one sweet person in show business? I guess every other comedian is a copy of the other then because they all seem grouchy and self depracating.
