A day trip up Corner Peak overlooking Lake Hāwea, near Wānaka. Corner Peak on a bluebird day is absolutely stunning and (in my opinion) better than Roys Peak or Isthmus Peak. It's a more challenging walk but worth the steep ascent and descent. With the kids visiting for the weekend, we took the opportunity to take a walk in our own backyard.
