Lake Hawea Station is New Zealand's first Toitu Carbon Zero certified farm. A historic Sheep and Beef station with a team working to prove farming can help heal the planet. Our primary focus is fine merino wool, where we partner with brands such as Sheep Inc, Maggie Marilyn, Another Tomorrow and All Birds. Lake Hawea Station believes that the greatest contribution we can make to the planet is by being carbon positive. After planting 15,000 native trees and making many farming management changes, we are proud to say that LHS is carbon positive by a factor of 2.5. So that what we do is actually helping the planets fight with climate change.
