I love it when something comes with a wiring harness that makes it plug n play.
Just installed the Diode Dynamics C1R (back-up & brake) in my '23 TRD Off-Road. Nice little unit; very bright and the installation is a breeze. I used the plastic clips to secure the unit inside the hitch (rather than modifying the unit to accept a 5/8" dia. locking receiver pin). The clips are decent but the unit seemed a little loose and I was concerned that the vibration from miles of driving might effect lifetime of the LEDs. To remedy this, I used some black RTV silicon to pot the Pod light inside the hitch since I don't use it to tow. Now it is rattle free and prevents it from being (easily) stolen. You should get one too!

While I am a huge DD guy, the Baja Designs one is way way brighter than the DD one.
why did you choose Diode one Baja designs? I'm getting ready to upgrade mine! awesome video!
Ive had such great experience with my diode dynamics stuff, has never let me down (even back in my WRX days the Subaru's had all DD) so just reliability / trust from experience big fan!
Spencer how easy is it remove it from hitch if you need to tow? How do you remove it from hitch?
its easy to remove. if you don't snap the tabs to put a hitch pin in, just push the side tabs and wiggle it out of the hitch receiver and unplug it.
Hi , got question for you . After install the light , is it easy to remove it out when you need to hall something ? or it will stick in there permernantly ?

Super easy!! I swap mine regularly with a bike rack carrier in the hitch and I also run a shackle if I'm on a trail or need recovery ropes attached etc.
