I’m very disappointed that Apple haven’t updated the mini , I sold my 12.9 I pad and got the mini . I really think that the new I pad pros are for professional use especially with the M4 chip and pro- creation. I really love my mini so easy to carry around . Great video as always have a fabulous weekend 😊

The reason they changed the pencil & keyboard is because they moved the camera from portrait to the side so had to move all the magnets where the pencil sits.
@tgreeb12345 - Yes I’m aware but I’m sure they could’ve made it work. Nonetheless it’s a great device for professionals or anyone doing work that needs this level of performance. Thanks as always for stopping by I really appreciate it 🙏🏽.
That excuse is not good enough. More like they want people to upgrade! There is a statistic that proves consumers keep their iPads longer than iPhones (mainly bc the iPads are not really changing, the phones are). If I was a company and I want people to buy my new product, I’m gonna make sure the accessories for that new device are not backwards compatible! Literally what they did. Game companies do this, that’s why there are ps5 games and ps4 games! Only difference, the consoles actually get better!

Thanks for the video! I'd like to know how well is the M4 ipad pro handles heating when using apps like procreate. In other words, how well is the thermal efficiency compared to the previous M models? The M2 does experience overheating when using procreate when coloring for 30 min, especially when the screen is bright. I'd also like to know if there's a speed difference between previous M chip models and the M4 8 gb (since 16 gb will obviously be faster but most people won't purchase 1-2 tb models).
from what I’ve seen and read it’s they added graphite and also they added copper near the apple logo to further help with thermals. Sounds like they did pretty good , especially for the thickness. It’s said to have 20% better heat distribution than the M2
@Stargazer9900 - From what I can already say is that it does not get hot whatsoever very few times it actually felt a bit warm. I will keep this in mind going forward and will get back to you again!
@Everyday-man - Yes you’re right about that.
I want to know more about the Oled screen , I’ve read that at a more particular brightness and colours, you can see grainy appearance. It’s said at 25% brightness and grey colours you can see a grainy appearance e.g. Oled mura effect. Can you confirm this? Or is it so negligible, that you have to be so specific to see it.
@Everyday-man - I also read things about people having eye strain and headaches due to the tandom display but so far I’ve run it at different levels including may peak brightness when outdoors and the display has looked gorgeous.
@@QasimZafar thank you, I thought that was the case. Some say you need to look at the screen from 3-4cm away to see the grain or really intently look for the grain. No one’s going to look at a screen like that in real life use. From googling frantically on Oled screens with mobiles , tablets , smaller monitors. Seems that a fair few can do this, but it’s something you need to really look for, be more in a darker room and lower brightness. Seems like it’s nothing to worry about.
If the iPad Pro can properly replace your MBP within your workflow, would you make it your main computing device or switch to a desktop computer for actual "computer" needs?

@lazayvion - What I’m looking to do is do a setup so this can work at my desk and away from my desk. Still have to check on a few other things to make sure everything is compatible otherwise I was thinking to get a used m1 Mac mini and have it at my desk setup just in case. @diario_e-bike - I’m using LumaFusion. Currently waiting on the new Final Cut for iPad update and hopefully that brings new additions that’ll be worth it.

Great hardware, but the same limited iPad iOS, and the same old money grab on Apple's part.
It's really not.. The product is good including iPad OS. There's nothing like this on the market. It's a great supplement to the MacBook and media consumption machine
Crap. Every gadget that’s been made in 2017 can do what every gadget of today can do. Being it a Samsung, Microsoft, google or any device from any other company. This should not be a reason to claim that the iPad is not a good product.
It’s better than the previous generation.
Secondly, the chipset in modern flagship phones can do 70 - 80% of what most laptops and desktop can do but there are not made to do what a laptop/desktop can do.
Phone should be phone, computer should stay on it’s place and tablets should stay in their place no matter the chipset or processor they have.
This is a excellent product with hardware. But …. IPadOS is a real joke. Don’t waste your money only because this
