I've used 4 coats of tung oil. I've been using my 2 wooden palettes exclusively since I filled them and have been testing them with lots of water use and they are working wonderfully for me. I'm not feeling nervous about the wear on them long term. I am offering refinishing to those that purchase them at any point down the line if they need. I've also been able to pop out the dry paint to switch colors - trying to give the palette the full test.

@@katryalls6323 what wood do you use. I am also working in a woodwork company and loves woodcraft. My fav. Wood is malaysian chengal and cambodian teak. But i thing chengal is da absolute best, but its pretty heavy.
