This looks like such a nice park! That old live oak tree is incredible. I love that they have eco tours available, too. This summer has been a hot one. We've been pacing ourselves outside, too.

Thanks, it was a nice park there for sure. We hope to go back again once a little cooler in the fall. Not so far away now!

I'm with the kitties, I'll be in the air conditioning! 😅 Love seeing them and the little vest and leash. I tried that with my former cat and then he'd meow at the door to go out all day! 🤦‍♀️ You're looking great (as always) and healthy, keep up the good work! 👏

Thanks so much, Lorra! ❤️ I know what you mean about waiting at the door. Snuggles does that, but he’s getting used to a routine. When we’re camping though he wants to go out all the time! Yes, it sure is nice to have AC the trailer. I would never camp without it anymore. Did that for many years! 😂

We stayed at Lake Griffin when we were in Florida last January. I agree, it was handy being so close to a town. I loved the spur trail. It didn't have your typical board walk through the swampy area but rather something I'd compare to like walking on narrow pallets placed right on the ground. It was really cool.

Hi there! That’s great to know that you stayed at Lake Griffin as well and got to go on the Spur Trail!! We are definitely going to have to go back and try that this fall when it’s a little cooler. I saw a couple pictures on a website, and it looks pretty interesting with the pallets on the ground like you mentioned. Did you see any gators?
      🧐😳🐊

@weinkeworldadventures We were in Florida for 6 weeks and camped at several of the state parks with natural springs and never once did we see a gator. I was really hoping I would.

I live just down the road from Lake Griffin State Park. I’ve enjoyed the trails and some of the amenities but I didn’t care much for the campsites back when I had an RV.

Thanks for sharing! That must be nice to be able to walk on the trails whenever you want to!
