I can really resonate with Robb. Michigan State University refused to recommend me for an internship bc I was quote “not mainstream” and didn’t agree with my holistic views. Basically they did everything to keep me from getting my license. They told me they would be sure I was not successful. Don’t recommend MSU
judy you are amazing!! you are hands down one of my favorite meat based health leaders. you and robb had an amazing interview. i love robb hes just one of those super smart people that are a pleasure to listen to because he knows about so many different topics. i love your and robbs honesty and courage to tackle the horrible situation we are in. i live in israel. i just finished a holistic nutrition health coach type 4 yr program. i am floored by what i am seeing. my tin hat is on to stay for now.....however bad you think censorship is in the us i am just horrified at what is going on in my country....at any rate thank you i feel a little less alone knowing i have such awesome people on my side! Judy. I have come and gone from your channel over the years. Never ran away, just busy learning elsewhere. I want to thank you for your diligence and consistency, and thank you for being a delightful person. Keep up the good work.
What a great interview! So much fascinating info covered!! Thank you Judy for sitting back, listening, and allowing your guests to actually talk and fully develop their thoughts and ideas.
👏👏👏👏 Much needed conversation considering the times we are living in. Thanks for clarifying a lot of the unfortunate misconceptions around a ketogenic/carnivore protocol. Stay informed, people. Do your homework to heal instead of letting a critic in a lab coat drag you down a toxic path. Meat really does heal.
@@NutritionwithJudy Day by day, I'm able to lean more into carnivore and I feel so much better despite RA and diabetes. Off all meds! Question: can I improve existing gum disease and possible tooth/bone loss? Recent dental trip indicates scaling and root planing next month 😕

seeing the price of LMNT in the Netherlands 46 euro for 30 portions I make my own ketorade and i too have a biochemistry degree. so such a price for salts being Dutch is a total No No. the lo salt costs 2 euro for 220 grams... i can get potassium citrate for 15 euro per kilo... add some Himalayan salt and i pop some magnesium citrate and threonate pills for decades...Seeing the prices of commerical sold electrolytes makes me sick.... had enough of racketeering and asking 500-2000 times the actual price
Robb's swear was censored as he discussed censorship 🤣 Honestly I am not complaining. Great interview! Big fan of both Robb & Judy. Just amused at that part.
Yes for electrolytes!! My BP was inching up after being mostly carnivore for a while and when I got pregnant with #5, I knew I had to get it down (beyond higher BP, I had pounding heart episodes a lot during early pregnancy)Learned about sodium and started salting more but it wasn’t enough. So I started LMNT (1 unflavored pack in a quart of water, drunk throughout the day), and it fixed my BP perfectly. Sleep great, plenty of milk for my babe, great energy.
What a wealth of knowledge and information !! If one isn’t responding that well to high protein carnivore and need to dial down and go more paleo or Keto, how can one effectively do that when you are sensitive and reactive to almost all foods😳only carnivore makes all sensitivities disappear!! So how on earth can I gain my health and muscle mass back when I’m not responding all that well to high protein ? Difficult one to get around 🤔Thanks again for a fantastic discussion Judy and always bringing us THE BEST 👌🤩🤩
@@NutritionwithJudy thanks for replying 😊Yes you are correct. I’m currently using the carnivore diet as an elimination diet and to heal and seal my gut.
@Chelle I'm in the same boat, looking for answers! I'm now watching Elliott Overton of EONutrition talking about thiamine (B-1) deficiency, of which I have all symptoms. Could this be the missing link? I'm experimenting with supplementing with a form of thiamine called Benfotiamine. After 3 days (300mg 3xday) I feel warmer than my lifelong slow metabolism has ever allowed me to feel. My feet and hands are no longer cold. Check out thiamine deficiency research by Chandler Marrs, PhD at hormonesmatter.com
I’m cramping quite a lot on carnivore. Cannot increase my electrolyte intake because it spikes my blood pressure and causes migraine, vomiting and feeling downright terrible !! All I can do is to salt my meat a lot. But I cannot drink sole or have any electrolyte drinks
@@NutritionwithJudy yes stress is a HUGE obstacle for me and I know that it’s one of the key reasons why I’m not healing as well or as quickly as I should. I did listen to him talk about stress management / lifestyle and I am desperately working at it. Difficult under the current circumstances with this scamdemic and our government doing everything they can to make our lives intolerable and chaotic!! I am so glad that you had this interview because there were sooo many things raised that I know directly applies to me. They’re inverting everything and living off the grid is certainly one way to lower the external stressors! When Robb Wolf advises ‘a gram of protein to per pound of lean body mass all the way up to a gram of protein per pound of body weight ‘ does this mean per meal or per day ? 🤔
The parts of the carnivore community that I was exposed to when I was most desperately trying to feel better did a lot to try to scare me away from LMNT saying that its not the best version of Mg and that supplementing K is a huge no no, and I still don't really know what to think of it. In that same theme I would be interested to see your take on a carnivore diet setting off orthorexia. I'm realizing that it wasn't the start of mine but it has turned it up 1000 degrees, and I didn't even notice while it got that bad.
@Jennifer Flower I tried upping my salt (Redmond) to 2-tsp per day and just felt swollen and awful. I drink 9-10 glasses of water a day (80 ounces), yet still can't get a good pee stream. How much salt do you use per day?
@@angelagrant2943 I tried to make it once and failed. But I've been putting sea salt in my water and previously in my coffee for a few years now. So it feels like an extra step. I'm already feeling tapped out with all the extra efforts and research. 🤷♀️
I don't think that debating benefits of grassfed vs grain fed beef is splitting hairs. There is a great divide over the humane treatment of the animals on pasture vs CAFOs. That's the reason we buy grassfed, so those farmers will stay in business. I much prefer a grain fed steak ... but don't like supporting CAFOs. So, it's much more than splitting hairs to me. 🤷♀️
