I feel you with the horror. I used to never read horror, it just wasn’t a genre I had any interest in. But I think I had a very narrow idea of what it really is (I immediately thought of Stephen King and the like whom I have no interest in reading). But then… I slowly started picking up some other horror books and I’m sucked in now. This year I’ve read so much more horror, it’s my second most read genre and it came at the expanse of my typical high fantasy addiction lmao
I'm so getting Chlorine the minute I find the paperback. City of Brass is hard to find for me, but I'll get the Daevabad series eventually. Also, Hoshina! I love him in the anime.
I really need to read Robin Hobb!! Everyone is always raving about her, haha. Also want to check out the Veronica Speedwell series. And I’m hoping to read Just For The Summer soon! 😊
Robin is definitely a much slower-paced author! But her character work is what really keeps me so hooked. Veronica Speedwell I highly recommend on audio!
