My son is 11 and he loves riding my zero 10x which is why I needed to get another scooter. Who knows what scooters will look like when your son is old enough for his first real scooter
That X2 is one hell of a scooter. There is nothing else out there, remotely like it... Myself : I own a Dualtron Mini. A scooter I like a lot. But when it rains, I get muddy water on top of both mudguards ! What use is that I ask myself ? The mudguards on these scooters really need to be improved. Then I can go out in the rain and not get my scooter covered in muddy water !
You won't regret it.. I just had a 32-mile roundtrip ride crossing the golden gate bridge and it felt like riding on the clouds.. I recommend you try a little practice ride in an empty lot to get the feel of it.
you looking for starting around $7500 + whatever addon you like, I live in here in San Francisco too, Just went down to MinimotorsUSA, pay for it plus tax, it is already $7k, saving $500 shipping and handling fee. Great scooter, the best you will get is this beast, my zero 10X is like a Toy compare with it.

It will work at any tropical places. All scooter overheat and you will start noticing unusual. Just don’t abuse it and you will be fine. 👍
