Like, I don't have super solution and sharpening. I used laptop, it played honkai and genshin fine with high setting but this game. Nah, even press alt can make it freeze for seconds!

For me it's still lagging too bad, i run honkai and genshin smoothly so idk what to do :( is lag higher on some servers? If so imma create another account on a better server :(
@@Ray_Soleil i think it's not because the server. They just smh made fps number affected ping bcuz you will see ping increases whenever the game lagged. When I stand still or walk, the game runs smooth af, but just a slightly run or sprint and move camera, game fked up
Ive noticed the MOST important setting with games like these is the shadow quality setting.... My game went from 10 fps to 60 fps by lowering the shadow quality by one notch
My experience on WuWa has been Peak 🔥🔥🔥💯💯 Lowest settings, 60 fps looking like 30 because of how choppy it is, incredibly high ping, getting more laggy EACH update i have on the game. Yeah im just gonna wait a few weeks until i play. Im getting 120 fps high settings 0 stutters on my entire experience so far on ghost of tsushima. Then on wuwa im struggling on the lowest settings… I have faith in kuro to fix the optimizations 🙏 *update 2 weeks later* Feels even worse now LOL ill update after its been 1 month
No but you actually have to log in to get the rewards because those are limited, and you have to advance in the story a little to have access to the daily login and that stuff
I’m playing genshin and rdr2 on the highest settings and I have usually max fps but in wuwa sometimes I have 25 but during fight and running 8-15💀 I hope they will fix it😭
everything is on the lowest but the lag and graphics are still terrible, which is a problem because wuwa's combat is amazing but the lag makes it impossible to enjoy 😭
Bro I turned off all the graphics enchantment like shadow and all, use lowest (not low) graphic settings, used 24 fps, and still can get 999ms when standing still lol Gameplay still fun tho
If you change the FPS limit from 30 to 60, the game runs unbelievably smoother. Only issue is a see a lot of resonating errors in combat and there is still very bad lag spikes while fighting bosses. im on mobile btw

Been playing WuWa on my PC after the first week it launched. I have never experienced any lag issues, all my game settings is either on high or advanced. Great game!
Guys, stupid test but: Set all monitors in Windows on 60 Hz and start the game after you changed it. Maybe do a restart after the 60 Hz change too, just in case. I play the game since 4 days and I didn't have any laggs. Only sometimes a high ping from 120++ for 5-10min and then it went back to 20-44ms (Genshin have 10ms). I recently switched my PC hardware and my new RTX 4070 only have DP and HDMI but my monitor only supports 120 / 144 Hz via DVI... So at the moment I have to play with 60 Hz until I bought a new monitor too! There are DP to DVI (active) Adapter but the cost 40-80€... And this adapter needs an external power supply source like power via extra USB cable. And it probably adds some input lag to the monitor and whatever... 😬 So, I need a new one! 🤷🏻♂️ I just was thinking: Maybe the game have issues right now with anything other than 60 Hz Refresh rate. I have 1080p 60Hz Ryzen 7800X3D, RTX 4070, 32 GB 6400 Mhz RAM, 1TB M.2 SSD. I tested the game with everything high and low and there's no issue. The only thing is that the game feels kinda "Blurry", washed out, compared to Genshin Impact wich is more vibrant and sharper too. In some scenes, the game seems sharp, but especially in Open World don't. I deactivated DLSS and it's no difference. I played a lot with the graphic settings. I figured out if you reduce the brightness in the settings of the game it looks much better...! The default is not really good, so lower it as low as possible and then increase it step by step and look at it. ☝🏻👍🏻

If you're playing on a laptop (or pc though idk if its the same) having the game installed in you SSD significantly boost performance, i had the game installed in my HDD and it pretty much stutters every couple of minutes and I play on a 3060ti
Yeah but it is dumb, like, i have windows on my ssd, my hard drive is totally free to run the game at its full capability dedicated only to the game, and you telling me it still runs bad? They need to fix that ASAP, i’d get it if it was like a hard drive with windows on the hard drive but its not like that. I have some free space on the ssd so i’ll be installing it there on the meantime, until it fills again bc its a 256gb one lmao😅
@@NFYT tbh HDD are known for being slow on games, if u want a better performance in games in general it's better to switch to an ssd or nvme, sadly in WuWa even having an nvme drive, 11th gen i7 and an rtx 3050 (that even if it's bad it can run warzone on 100+fps so it can run wuwa) i still face some lag after 3 or even 2h of playing
I wonder how they had two betas but nobody noticed that. Appearantly the pool of people considted mostly of people who have really good equipment. I use 1080ti but it still lags. Genshin looks amazing on this pc
I opened up genshin in the background and the game stutter less for some reason lel. turns out the memory leaks from the game can be prevented by having genshin in the background
I try to play each and every game with all the graphical options at a minimum to avoid anything that interferes with the gameplay, But in wuthering waves, the ping keeps fluctuating, I literally can't even get out of the combat tutorial boss 😢

@@hxppythxughts7149 It was definitely AMD FSR, people are saying it was 2.0. I used Lossless scaling's open source implementation of FSR 1.0 on the game, and it looked exactly like the FSR of WW. So it's AMD FSR. Except, WW was using a "performance" or "balanced" preset of FSR, cuz it was way blurrier. Anyway, they removed FSR from the game just this update, so we don't have it anymore. It was giving me like 5-10 fps on my GTX 1060 6GB. Oh well. I'll stick to Lossless scaling
Super resolution should be performance or balanced for sure. Everything off and things on lowest exceot nividia's things. I still stutter here and there but the devs have been optimizing a ton so its great i'm not lagging/stuttering just for turning the camera for 1 second and being lagged for 10 because of it. Im getting a new computer hopefully soon to help too.
i am experiencing the same thing but i tried maximizing the graphics to highest and it was smoother and so better than lower graphics but still laggy. i am playing on mobile (iphone!)

Mine is still freezing the screen because of the extremely laggy gameplay. Take note that all my settings are in the lowest they can be ang my laptop has 8gb space of RAM and has intel CORE 7. So I'm still lacking motivation to continue playing it. Hopefully it gets fixed soon so I can continue
I turned everything to low or turned everything off but its still unplayable. It loads for over 30 minutes every time I start it or fast travel, enter building and so on. The screen is frozen for over 5 seconds every time I move so 10 steps take a minute to do. Its a shame. I really want to give this game a chance. I even pulled Jiyan but didnt get to use him since I cant play. Im literally at the repair the thing surounded by thorns but I cant get past invisible thorns part right after "activate sensor to continue" quest. I playes for over 16 hours of pure gameplay so no counting wishing or load screens.
The only thing that could literally help the game a thousand times in performance, would be rendering scale, or even an dynamic resolution... Most games have it and it HELPS SO MUCH... i wish they could implement it, or even the kind of antialiasing that genshin implemented not so long ago (the fsr2 i think, it works so much better and runs so smoothly compared to any other antialiasing)
Bro 80% graphics just went to the shadow settings, with the high settings and low shadow my pc still can run it with 60fps, but if i set with low settings but medium shadow, the fps just gone to 30-40fps bruh

The fact that somehow I don't have a "sharpening" slider is killing me. In my laptop I play Genshin at 60 fps by reducing it, but can't get over 20 fps in whutering waves cause I can't decrease the "sharpening" of models. That's so sad😢
I still don't understand why when I set the graphics to "very low" it actually very lag. But I set it to "low" and the shadows I set to minimum and the game seems less lag.
In mobile in default settings it was very lagging but i off some features put resolution on medium,shadow medium,45 fps now it's better than before but still very far from smooth 30 fps in genshin
Naww... My pc is new, our wifi is in good connection yet all and i mean ALL server is 999ms! I hate it! I did everything! Yet still nothing work! So, i delete it and download Genshin impact instead 🤦♀️
Already quit the game. Sadly the lag was just too much, and compared to HSR where everything was running smoothly even after some hours of playin. Just gonna wait for ZZZ to quench my ARPG itch haha
I heard quite a lot people saying that it lags on mobile, but never experienced myself. I play on highest settings yet there is still no frame drops or any kind or lag, instead it runs way too smooth. Although there is some ping issue, but guess its just my network issue.
The lowest setting is not optimised so it will lag and mild freeze and such Medium graphics settings with res. Low, shadow mid, others all low or off and the last setting should be On for smooth graphics and u are good to go Best one for mid phones Although it will kinda heat and that or this low battery but it cant be helped Games still new And there's so many graphical changes should be done like low grass and unmoving grass, lower cloud density and sun reflection and no bloom settings and (render distance should be optimised better- its all over the places as some impt things doesn't render properly) Honestly they're trying to max their game quality but i hope they understand how to low it and still looks good) Genshin was expext in that field ❤game is good Thanks for reading!
Tbh, the game lag issue is unbearable even after over a week of patch. Like yeah, it's better now but PC version is still unplayable while mobile is just ok enough to explore the game. My laptop is newly bought, I have barely used it and it's almost in a clean state, the game refused to stop lagging when moving, much less actually playing, so it's unplayable. The mobile version is more optimized for some reason but I have to put everything to lowest, turn on performance mode and turbo mode for Redmi phone, and I can barely explore the game, not fighting, just exploring the game because to hell can I dodge with that amount of lag. My phone and laptop can smoothly play any other game without issue, while I can't even move on laptop and play normally on mobile for WuWa.
Funny thing it runs better on my phone on the max setting, but the graphics looks awful and blurry even the npc looks like pixels that aren't polished enough. And no there's no lagging just the blurry view on everything

I am running it with a rtx 3070 and on other system with a radeon rx 6900xtx. Both systems no problem or lag at all. Update all you drivers and make sure add it a exception to you anti virus program then you should no lags at all anymore.

lags in this game at some point look like the engine is just tripping, I have 60 fps that like to jump when my cpu and gpu usage dont go over 40% and when I set graphics to low or very low from 60 fps with spikes I have 34, like who made this game how is this even possible?

Mine is still freezing the screen because of the extremely laggy gameplay. Take note that all my settings are in the lowest they can be ang my laptop has 8gb space of RAM and has intel CORE 7. So I'm still lacking motivation to continue playing it. Hopefully it gets fixed soon so I can continue

I turned everything to low or turned everything off but its still unplayable. It loads for over 30 minutes every time I start it or fast travel, enter building and so on. The screen is frozen for over 5 seconds every time I move so 10 steps take a minute to do. Its a shame. I really want to give this game a chance.
I even pulled Jiyan but didnt get to use him since I cant play. Im literally at the repair the thing surounded by thorns but I cant get past invisible thorns part right after "activate sensor to continue" quest. I playes for over 16 hours of pure gameplay so no counting wishing or load screens.

I had the same problem, your issue is that you installed the game on HDD instead of SDD. That should fix most of the loading issues.

The only thing that could literally help the game a thousand times in performance, would be rendering scale, or even an dynamic resolution... Most games have it and it HELPS SO MUCH... i wish they could implement it, or even the kind of antialiasing that genshin implemented not so long ago (the fsr2 i think, it works so much better and runs so smoothly compared to any other antialiasing)

I just turned on advanced graphics, turn off motion blur, anti aliasing and volumetric fog, and put 60 fps and put brightness at 1. Fixed

Bro 80% graphics just went to the shadow settings, with the high settings and low shadow my pc still can run it with 60fps, but if i set with low settings but medium shadow, the fps just gone to 30-40fps bruh

The fact that somehow I don't have a "sharpening" slider is killing me. In my laptop I play Genshin at 60 fps by reducing it, but can't get over 20 fps in whutering waves cause I can't decrease the "sharpening" of models. That's so sad😢

I still don't understand why when I set the graphics to "very low" it actually very lag. But I set it to "low" and the shadows I set to minimum and the game seems less lag.

That's a known issue with the game engine. UE4 sucks when it comes to optimization. Old Blade&Soul had the exact same issues as WuWa does.
In mobile in default settings it was very lagging but i off some features put resolution on medium,shadow medium,45 fps now it's better than before but still very far from smooth 30 fps in genshin

I heard quite a lot people saying that it lags on mobile, but never experienced myself. I play on highest settings yet there is still no frame drops or any kind or lag, instead it runs way too smooth. Although there is some ping issue, but guess its just my network issue.

The lowest setting is not optimised so it will lag and mild freeze and such
Medium graphics settings with res. Low, shadow mid, others all low or off and the last setting should be On for smooth graphics and u are good to go

Tbh, the game lag issue is unbearable even after over a week of patch. Like yeah, it's better now but PC version is still unplayable while mobile is just ok enough to explore the game. My laptop is newly bought, I have barely used it and it's almost in a clean state, the game refused to stop lagging when moving, much less actually playing, so it's unplayable. The mobile version is more optimized for some reason but I have to put everything to lowest, turn on performance mode and turbo mode for Redmi phone, and I can barely explore the game, not fighting, just exploring the game because to hell can I dodge with that amount of lag. My phone and laptop can smoothly play any other game without issue, while I can't even move on laptop and play normally on mobile for WuWa.

I am running it with a rtx 3070 and on other system with a radeon rx 6900xtx.
Both systems no problem or lag at all. Update all you drivers and make sure add it a exception to you anti virus program then you should no lags at all anymore.

the stuttering doesn't seem to a GPU issue, i had it before, reinstalled the game fromy HDD to my SSD, now game runs smooth without lowering the graphics
