I saw the Instagram post of the decal before the vlog, and I was like "WHAT A CUTE NEW LOGO." It's just so interesting to see how much self-doubt goes into every artist's practise, no matter how experienced or not. And it's so weird how our insecurities don't really transfer into the work that we create. Sha'an this was beautiful, all of it. Thanks for sharing, made me hate myself less for being insecure about my work ;_;
Project-focused videos are more interesting I think too. The vlog types of videos are often those that people who like you will watch, just so that they can share a bit of your time (does that make sense?) but the project-focused ones are more educational/useful/inspiring. I personally find making project-based (in my case, artwork-based videos) easier, when I live my life, I can't be bothered filming it. XD ANYWAY! Super cute new logo!
make whatever videos speak to you obviously but i just wanted to add that i absolutely love hodge podge studio vlogs. as a maker, there is nothing like putting on a random studio vlog to listen to while i’m working on my own things

The riso calendar 😍😍😍Soooo pretty! Absolutely love the logo, it’s so cute! The whole putting up the decal fiasco, dress flying up, car horn beeps, you just wildly “wielding” a raw razor blade😂😂😂 Y’all had me in stitches laughing. This was my Saturday morning treat🥰

I absolutely loved this video! Sort of a chaotic, light-hearted energy that lifted my afternoon mood! (Though I'll say, I really like the blend of videos that are sort of "snapshots of life" combined with "one project at a time".) The decal/logo is sweet - was my favorite of the sketches!
You were a chirpy little peach for this post! I love the decal logo. I didn't think they would work on the glass door until the very moment you pulled off the last layer of film. A furry little coup in a dress that blows up! Can't wait for your next videos. 🍑

Loved this vlog, the decal looks amazing! It brightens up the door so much! Speaking of bright, LOVE the dress you were wearing when doing the decal on the door, is it for sale anywhere? It's so lovely!
I was thinking for the bleed you could flatten out each letter, then create a duplicate of each flat letter. Then click on each duplicate and stretch constrain them ( so they don’t loose shape) and place them behind each original. So there is a halo-duplicate that creates bleed. Or ❤ Once you export vector on in Illustrator you can image trace the whole thing then expand each object. That will allow all your shapes to have strokes. You can then go and command select just the outer shape the outline and add stroke to it however thick you want it. Probably 6 pts to be safe ❤☺️
I love how you were thoughtful enough to stay on brand with yourself, like if you were a design company working with you, then you'd have created this sign because it's completely on brand with Furry Little Peach. Wow, that was hard to say. Quick Question: Why go to Fresco? Why not go directly to AI? I feel like I may be doing something wrong and I don't know it. Thanks for making videos and staying true to yourself!!!

I had the same problem with Fresco and I think I have a solution for you! It will not export as a proper vector as long as you have any clipping masks enabled. My workaround was to set all the clipping masks to normal layers, export and then redo the clipping masks in Illustrator. It's still kind of annoying, but faster than redrawing everything. Hope this helps :) PS - I think the same goes for transparencies, and non-vector layers etc. It will only export as a vector if all layers are vector layers and at 100% transparency. So if you have one layer where you drew with a non-vector brush you need to delete that also.
Ok, I commented before Ifinished watching the whole video so now I am not sure if that really was your problem :D But anyway, it took me ages to figure out what the problem was, so maybe it will be helpful regardless :)

The lettering makes me think of these stickers I had as a kid that were Australian animals shaped into letters - it had the whole alphabet and you could write things with them. I used them on my most special poster in year 4
so obviously yo should do the videos as u like them most, but for me I actually like the videos most, were you show a lot of different things that happen that day. I find one project a little less interesting sometimes. depends on the project but well at the end we all have different taste. maybe its best you do the videos how you like them best. :) sunshine sent from Germany
