Esa segunda parte de "Shine On You Crazy diamond" (pts. VI-VIII) ha sido interpretada en vivo en dos ocasiones: la primera en el Meltdown Concert de David Gilmour de 2002 y la segunda por Roger Waters en su reciente gira This not a Drill del año pasado. Saludos
i didnt no gilmour let snowy white to play soli at this tour but he play good for the first time. and he play good again hey you rogers the wall . we dont know he play moog at the end parts perhaps rick himself he could play at the seventies.
That's definitely sounds like Snowy White. All the notes are chopped up which is style. Not even close to David's bending notes style. David's is much better.
I never thanked you for uploading this. I trimmed it down simply to upload a shorter video of just Part 9 on my channel because that is one of my favorite musical pieces ever. I never heard them recreate the first Minimoog measure so accurately, the other live versions I've heard usually just have Dave improvise the whole lead section of Part 9.
Do you make/can I get a complete cd of this show? I have the Boot and it's the crown jewel of my collection...but your version is far superior and I listen to your "Pigs" at least 5 times a month...I just love this show!!! thanks!!
As much as I love Rick, it can't be true. You need three hands to play that. Or he was reeeeeeally fast to play the piano bass line with a thumb and the chords with the other 4 fingers, which would be impressive as hell.
Peter Diaz it's an bootleg, and one of the best, if not the best sounding from 77, as long as there won't be a official release, which I hope will see the the light of the day soon
Floyd did not record their early concerts, there's (to our great unfortune) only bootlegs like these. They can only offer shades of what they actually must have sounded like. I'm not complaining though.
Rick Wright is the reason why I love MiniMoog... He was the soul of the band.

Tienes toda la razón esta obra de arte es para la posteridad es un patrimonio de la humanidad simplemente gracias RICHARD WRIGHT

@@juanmiguelrizolopez5012 Yes but he's talking about that incredible part 9 which has been removed from every live performances
I’m the crazy diamond. Life is good.
Parts 6 - 9.... the greatest thing they ever did.
And I thought it was just me. All 9 movements do it for me, but VI-IX.......holy crap.
Shine On, parts 6-9, as performed iive in Oaklans on 5/09/1977, is one of the greatest performances in the history of rock.
The sheer enormity of this piece of music has captivated me for the past 40 years.
I always love jazzy and bluesy parts of Pink Floyd

This is as far as I know the best live performance of that piece.
Just because of Part 9 Oakland is the one to release officialy. Imagine this concert in high quality
08:04 min super jam
It's big shame that's ther now video recording of this show, sow big, and i think Floyd was at the top in 77 flesh trur.

Wait. Are you sure this is Oakland 77? Sounds like a different show.
For the last part, does Richard play the piano or the Minimoog? Who plays the other keyboard?
MinorCirrus as far as I know it's all rick

i looked, and i was right, it was just rick, the 77 touring band was, gilmour, waters, mason, wright, plus dick perry (sax) and snowy white (guitar)
I knew that as well, but from what I hear, the Minimoog could have been played by David, who doesn't play guitar at that moment (17:44).
Hmmm time. For a DVD to make. Things clear hehe david could play piano too as well so. Maybe
Anybody know where this was released? What is MOTB? I can't find any Live Pink Floyd recordings released in 2009
Peter Diaz it's an bootleg, and one of the best, if not the best sounding from 77, as long as there won't be a official release, which I hope will see the the light of the day soon
