- Approximately two thirds of stroke survivors experience problems with vision. Depending where in the brain the stroke occurred, patients may have vision loss or vision perception problems.
Therapists use a range of exercises to strengthen impaired vision, improve blind spots and focus, expand the visual field and reduce double vision or visual select.

I'm 74, after radiation in head/neck region(5 days a week for 6 weeks) I lost 70lbs AND my vision is slowly fading, depth and night major issues. Stay away from radiation. This was for cancer. My eye stroke occurred before cancer treatments, eyes were getting better than EVIL C has almost done me in. Vision care is sooo important. Stay healthy and away from radiation. DC

@Guy Meritt:I feel you man,I was "GIVEN"(not"had")a stroke in 2003,due to Gross Medical Negligence,which culminated in me losing 1/3 of my temporal lobe,a great deal of my visual axons,and thus limited peripheral dexterity. This"Dynavision"is kind of FUN and challenging,as I'll muse:"I'm going to BEAT my best time THIS time out,even if it kills me!!
Hey, I’m in the same situation as you. Have you hand any change in your vision? I currently do exercises and can see the bottom half of my right side that I couldn’t see before. I know 100% restoration of vision is tricky but I’m hoping to be able to read again

@@osbeidymelchor6064 My vision got steadily and slowly better for about 2 months and, then, in about a five day period the recovery really accelerated; my vision is completely normal, now. I have no idea why, at one point, it got so much better so quickly - I had a really bad "gaze palsy" in my left eye. It wouldn't hardly move. I couldn't drive - I couldn't do shit. I looked like Marty Feldman - one pointing one direction and one eye pointing the other. Give it time - I was skeptical, but, mine completely healed. Sending positive vibes your way....good luck and stay positive.
@@guymerritt4860 oh wow- that’s amazing!! I’m hopping just to be able to read but I keep finding people who magically get there sight back. I’ll be honest, I’ve been really down because of my sight being so out of it... any exercises in particular that you did?

My wife suffering from this illness I can't really imagine because she's 20 that time.. After she gave birth she admitted at the hospital because of sepses and anemia then the doctor said she need to add 2 bags of blood so I agreed but 15 days in hospital she became worst and high blood occurred so we decided to went home after her blood pressure is OK but a few days this diplopia occurred we go to opthalmologist but they don't gave any medication ... Now she's not getting worst but she's in diplopia

My dad recently had multiple strokes and has lost his vision completely. I don't know if there is anything medically that can be done but the doctors aren't doing anything for him. :(

Imtiaz Ahmed thank u my friend....they said i suffered cerebral stroke while others haemorrhage.....the good thing is i didn't suffered any physical disabilities like others.

I don't know exactly.. but I think it's about a year.. you have to go hospital and get some therapy for stroke.

I was also 21 years old when i had brain stroke last year now i am 22 also my right have blind spot i can see at specific point which disturbs me most and when i concentrate to much then it starts pain mein my eye ( i had a stroke on 4 may 2021)

I have been practicing these eye exercises for a few weeks. And I'm facing severe headache issues also my eyes hurt really bad. My left eye is kinda crossed so I do these to cure that. Should I stop? Or the pain is normal?
do it correct way means with relaxation..
Wear an eye patch on the good eye to get the strength back

Mandeep Kaur I don't know how to help.I couldn't see for months.Then one day I started to see a little more.And little by I started to see normally.Sorry about your friend I know how it feels to be blind .
