Hi everyone! This clarification needs to be said regarding the incident as there seems to be mass confusion: The person who harassed me and coughed on me, had NO complaint about being on a stream or a vlog. When asked why he harassed me, he explained that he didn’t want us collecting superchats at Disneyland and felt it was “against the rules” to which Disneyland and Anaheim PD assured him, was not a violation on our part at all. The false narrative about him being upset about him or his family being filmed is *not true*. This is all especially obvious when you see how many times he made his was onto camera. We never focus on other patrons at the park when filming, never have, never will. We focus on ourselves and ask consent if others are shown within our control (ie not in a background shot) We are well aware of rules, and as stated, treat Disneyland as a *privilege, not a right* Final point to think about; when Disneyland security is reported a complaint (harassment etc) they alone make the decision on how to handle the matter.. so obviously if they handled it the way they did, they deemed it serious enough and not an issue of “vloggers and streamers filming people ruining their experience at Disneyland” This was harassment and assault..unwarranted and unacceptable behavior. No one deserves to feel harassed or unsafe.
I guess people are just plain rude and very nasty. I have watched a lot of your videos in the past . This was the 1st one that I heard someone say what that man did. I think you handled it as best you could under the circumstances. Back in June I had an altercation during a private event here in my state and my phone was snatched out of my hand.

@@JG-qn9sd sorry but that type of behavior cannot be tolerated or allowed especially in a themepark by a grown man toward a woman period. Based on that, security was a necessary move and they acted accordingly based on the overwhelmingly damning evidence of which they were provided.
Hello y'all Thought I would comment on the unfortunate circumstance that happened on Sunday. I was lucky I had no plans was able to be there. Besides being friends with Katie and Spencer I consider Spencer as a brother and Katie as a little sister which I never had. So we are more than friends we are family. I would protect and look out for both of them. So I went into big brother mode. Which I didn't realize till I rewatched the video. I would do this for anybody if I saw that there where being missed treated in any form. And I hope anyone else would do the same. So on conclusion Thanks for all the wounderful comments . Really glad you were there Charlie, you’re awesome. Thankfully Katie (and I’m sure Spencer) have the good sense to have someone there with her 99% of the time. Which is obviously good practice.
You’re truly awesome Charlie. In all cases, but in this weird case especially. You just never know, street smarts and thinking in the moment are always important, you def have both.
After watching the video I do feel this man should have kept his mouth closed, however please remember that for some people this is their one and only Disney experience. Vloggers may be talking so much that it will detract from the experience.
That wasn’t his issue. He wanted to be on camera and made sure he was visible on the stream. He wanted to stop us from getting superchats at Disneyland, and felt it was “against the rules” Which, as clarified by Disneyland and Anaheim PD, is absolutely 100% false.
I watched yesterday's vlog several times and I can't believe what this world has come to!! How could someone clear their throat so menacing toward someone!!?!! How could someone say under their voice "Don't send money to these grifters!" The truth is, you guys made too much out of this whole thing. You can tell when someone is doing a livestream! I’m a frequent Disneyland goer and I see people on their cameras all the time I simply just move out of the way if I don’t want to be in the background. 🙄 That guy was an attention seeking dirtbag!

I think it’s a fare point. Disney should clap down on those using Disney parks as a point of revenue. There not work, they are a holiday destination for holidays not to scrounge for donations.
With tik tok, instagram, RUclips, and other streaming avenues, I thinks it’s unrealistic. Don’t think anyone is there “scrounging for donations” For example, We get superchats here and there on streams, but superchats are not our source of income.
I just watched it. It honestly wasn’t that big of a deal. The guy was a jackass, but you guys are definitely blowing it out of proportion. It honestly sounded like he was clearing his throat or making a weird noise rather than a cough. But it definitely was intentional. Still, you guys are over exaggerating just a bit.
My pet peeve is people that are snarky about people giving you money. Money is not required to enjoy your page. People who give you money is doing so because they enjoy your entertainment. You have never asked for that money! I'm glad you followed up on this and reported this behavior.
Tips on a live stream or buying merch isn’t “giving” someone money in my opinion or many others. Maybe it because I’m used to Twitch.. but it would be like looking down on Pewdiepie because he gets tips while live-streaming.. these people are far from “grifters.” That guy was gross on the boat and the lady who said she was a fan immediately after was amazing.

If you were actually spit on then yes that’s absolutely something to get upset about and get him removed and so on. Otherwise while filming in a public area you are going to have to deal with people and public activity just like people have to be in you’re videos when they didn’t ask to be because they are in a public area.
Ive repeatedly stated that the issue he had was about money being made via youtube. He literally stated that to the police. It was not about being filmed otherwise he wouldnt have walked himself and his child right through the shot on purpose to cough on her.

Two wrongs don’t make a right. Objectively, the dude is a real weirdo, (who acts like that?) but yelling derogatory comments at somebody in Disneyland is pretty low. Telling him kindly to leave you alone or ignoring him(with a big ass dude defending, go Charlie!) was the MVP play there.
What happened to Katie was not cool and certainly uncalled for. But I think people get upset at you guys because sometimes it feels like making money is more important to you guys than connecting with your audience. It would be nice if sometimes you’d acknowledge comments of those that don’t donate as well on your live streams. You guys are much more financially stable than many many other people in this world so I’m sure you can afford to make all of your audience feel included in the experience, including those that aren’t donating to post a super comment.

Interesting. As a filmmaker and youtuber myself, I agree with 100%. That said, remember the people you are working to make happy aren't as often in your physical presence. What you're doing may not be pleasing to folks around you. You have a right to it of course but you are onscreen creatives, personalities, so with, anyone is your customer to some deegree. Consider a family visiting for a fun day and a dozen bloggers are hopping around filmming everything, EVEN THE RIDES. The more bloggers that do this in disney the more often these situations will happen. Let's say youre riding a ride for the first time and someone in a car in front of you pops up a gopro to film. That could be destracting. See what I mean?
I see people who are not youtubers using gopros and iphones filming their experiences all the time. We now live in a society where this is commonplace. With that said, illegal behavior such as harassment and assault is not the proper course of action for any reason and is not excusable whatsoever.

It's healthy to just live in the moment, and people have forgotten that. What you guys do is something different, sharing those moments with the world. I found you guys during pandemic and your channel was super helpful during that time. Your channel has often helped me decide whether an attraction is something that I would enjoy. This guy definitely broke the law, and it feels like he had some other axe to grind. Very sorry that happened to you guys. Don't sweat the bad apples, you guys are doing fun stuff.

I do not condone the man's actions whatsoever. However, I would be very annoyed if someone was live streaming on an attraction. Some people go there once in a lifetime. Your merch promotion may be ruining their one chance to experience the serene rivers of America.

That’s another thing to love about the Happiest Place on Earth. It’s also very safe. I saw a post recently about some young adult ladies being followed around the park by a gentleman. They were honestly scared. They were able to find a cast member and security responded that they had already identified the stalker and the officer being a father figure had already been alerted to what was happening. The girls were even escorted back to their car. 🥰Thank you security for everything you do!!!🥰

I'm going through the comments and I see some negative ones towards BL&B. If you do not enjoy this content or the people providing it, then why are you wasting your time? Also, some people are saying that they are deleting comments, IT'S THEIR RUclips CHANNEL. They have every right to do that, I personally would be doing the same. It's terrible this happened, and do it while his child was present too. I work graveyard shift at a hotel, and a few weeks ago, this guy cursed me out when I had to lock up the pool area, using awful language, with his young son right next to him. What these people are teaching their kids.... ☹️ I'm very glad you're ok, and that Charlie was with you.
It unfortunately happens with disrespectful cast members. I’m being harassed and talked down on so that’s why I’m not at work. I unfortunately probably won’t be back at Disney. I’m being harassed also. It’s heart breaking. Just with little disrespectful comments. Happens all the time with every job I’ve had. I’m just done at this point.
It’s just weird I don’t have a problem with the guests I have more of a problem with some of the cast members. Behind the scenes it’s no good it’s pathetically sad and depressing. It would be nice to eat my lunch in peace and quiet but I don’t even get that. 🤷♀️ It’s fine if people are just chatting about their job and how tough it’s been like me and my co worker do but it gets super old when I sit down and here the same conversations… I didn’t get any time off, so and so is this or that. I finally sat down next to a group of cooks and said, “I don’t care” under my breath. People need to come out of denial and work on THEMSELVES and PROBLEM SOLVE instead of bicker and not solve anything. Also my male co worker harassed me all the time. Disney needs to start having seminars on harassment and bullying not on how as cast members we can make them more money. Now they are going to lose a good cast member. I’m kind to the guests (yes I still am new and suck at my job) and help them when they are confused. Walk into Disneyland and see most people not even help just stare and make you feel like crap. I’m just over it. It’s the new Knotts to me. I’m over it. So now I have to go to work pretending to be happy when I’m depressed. 🤷♀️ Disneyland is the last place I want to be. I’m already trying to fight for only 40 hrs a week and they are giving me a ton of hours which I don’t won’t. I’m not a slave to money like 99.9 percent of people who just buy bull crap. I’m over it.
I have more pictures and videos of Disneyland then anything else, I was there with my adult kids and grandkids, we got of a ride and my daughter turned to see if we were, behind her a lady was so close to her, stuck her arms out and shoved her almost knocked her down, my daughter told her off and the lady just keep walking and flipped my daughter off, people are getting rude in the park, I’ve had 3 other bad people experience the last few times I’ve visited, it’s just sad. My children and I were there in February and I followed your advise to get on Galaxy's Edge right after opening time, from what time to arrive at the park, to where to stand at rope drop. It was perfect! We walked right on to the ride. Thank you for all that you do and share.
Whoever that dude is definitely has some issues at home and elsewhere. To go to literally the Happiest Place On Earth and act like a complete KNOB and in front of a child?! Such a weird thing to get upset about when you're supposed to be spending a nice day at Disneyland with your family. I could see getting annoyed if someone filming was getting in the way or being obnoxious but you (and all the Disney youtubers I watch) are totally professional and make sure not to harm anyone's experience.
And even IF he thought they weren’t being professional (and he was wrong), then as Spencer said , walk away, cripes - tell a CM if you feel it’s that egregious. And in front of your kid? Not to mention ruining everyone else who was on the ship’s experiences. When people are *#holes in public, at DL, the airport, wherever, they make a lot of people uncomfortable and I’m sure there were other kids around, too. Blerg. Good thought too Spence, “what if your mom or colleagues were watching”? I don’t know….works for most of us - obvs this guy had issues that prbly carry over into other areas of his life. Infuriating and sad. Don’t beat yourself up, Spencer. KT can handle herself and Pixar Charlie is a stellar dude. Other citizens would have helped, too.

You took me to my happy place. I want to that you so much for that, for helping me get through some sad and tough moments at a very tough time where I needed to put a smile on my face so my children didn’t see me down. I appreciate your videos along with other vloggers I watch. I don’t live in California and i rely on your videos to help me make the best of my trips to Disneyland. Thank you for what you do. I had someone walk by and purposely cough in my direction while I was in line for a Covid test. People can be horrible. There’s also a big issue with people thinking it’s against the law to record things.. if someone is at Disney they already are being recorded by security. Honestly the moment people leave their front door there are cameras everywhere. I hope that never happens to any live streamer again. Also you guys are doing an amazing job, you’re sharing the Disney experience with people who can’t be there, that’s a huge deal and we appreciate it!

Ugh I’m so sorry this happened. In 2021 when we went to wdw I was getting on rise of resistance and this family kept passing over the 6 feet markers (this was when everyone was following the guidelines bc nobody was vaccinated yet) so i had a big group with us 6 people. So 3 people were on one marker and 3 people were on the marker behind. Well kids kept touching me, so I said out loud that we had to be on two separate markers bc the group behind us wasn’t following the markers. So instead of the parents correcting their kids and explaining they had to stand on the markers, they told them to come up to me and give me a big hug and then kept saying rude comments. I wish I would’ve told a cast member but I didn’t because I didn’t want to ruin the kids vacation. I’m glad you spoke up to security!!!

My goodness! Contributing to your channels is worth ever penny for the entertainment and mostly the tips! When we plan our trips, we always start watching a bunch of the Disney youtubers to catch up on the latest food, merchandise, ride strategies and so much more. Hi everyone! This clarification needs to be said regarding the incident as there seems to be mass confusion: The person who harassed me and coughed on me, had NO complaint about being on a stream or a vlog. When asked why he harassed me, he explained that he didn’t want us collecting superchats at Disneyland and felt it was “against the rules” to which Disneyland and Anaheim PD assured him, was not a violation on our part at all. The false narrative about him being upset about him or his family being filmed is *not true*. This is all especially obvious when you see how many times he made his was onto camera. We never focus on other patrons at the park when filming, never have, never will. We focus on ourselves and ask consent if others are shown within our control (ie not in a background shot)
We are well aware of rules, and as stated, treat Disneyland as a *privilege, not a right*
Final point to think about; when Disneyland security is reported a complaint (harassment etc) they alone make the decision on how to handle the matter.. so obviously if they handled it the way they did, they deemed it serious enough and not an issue of “vloggers and streamers filming people ruining their experience at Disneyland”
This was harassment and assault..unwarranted and unacceptable behavior. No one deserves to feel harassed or unsafe.
I guess people are just plain rude and very nasty. I have watched a lot of your videos in the past . This was the 1st one that I heard someone say what that man did. I think you handled it as best you could under the circumstances. Back in June I had an altercation during a private event here in my state and my phone was snatched out of my hand.

Thought I would comment on the unfortunate circumstance that happened on Sunday. I was lucky I had no plans was able to be there. Besides being friends with Katie and Spencer I consider Spencer as a brother and Katie as a little sister which I never had. So we are more than friends we are family. I would protect and look out for both of them. So I went into big brother mode. Which I didn't realize till I rewatched the video. I would do this for anybody if I saw that there where being missed treated in any form. And I hope anyone else would do the same. So on conclusion Thanks for all the wounderful comments . My pet peeve is people that are snarky about people giving you money. Money is not required to enjoy your page. People who give you money is doing so because they enjoy your entertainment. You have never asked for that money! I'm glad you followed up on this and reported this behavior.
Tips on a live stream or buying merch isn’t “giving” someone money in my opinion or many others. Maybe it because I’m used to Twitch.. but it would be like looking down on Pewdiepie because he gets tips while live-streaming.. these people are far from “grifters.” That guy was gross on the boat and the lady who said she was a fan immediately after was amazing.

Ive repeatedly stated that the issue he had was about money being made via youtube. He literally stated that to the police. It was not about being filmed otherwise he wouldnt have walked himself and his child right through the shot on purpose to cough on her.

Interesting. As a filmmaker and youtuber myself, I agree with 100%. That said, remember the people you are working to make happy aren't as often in your physical presence. What you're doing may not be pleasing to folks around you. You have a right to it of course but you are onscreen creatives, personalities, so with, anyone is your customer to some deegree. Consider a family visiting for a fun day and a dozen bloggers are hopping around filmming everything, EVEN THE RIDES. The more bloggers that do this in disney the more often these situations will happen. Let's say youre riding a ride for the first time and someone in a car in front of you pops up a gopro to film. That could be destracting. See what I mean?
I see people who are not youtubers using gopros and iphones filming their experiences all the time. We now live in a society where this is commonplace. With that said, illegal behavior such as harassment and assault is not the proper course of action for any reason and is not excusable whatsoever.

That’s another thing to love about the Happiest Place on Earth. It’s also very safe. I saw a post recently about some young adult ladies being followed around the park by a gentleman. They were honestly scared. They were able to find a cast member and security responded that they had already identified the stalker and the officer being a father figure had already been alerted to what was happening. The girls were even escorted back to their car. 🥰Thank you security for everything you do!!!🥰

It's terrible this happened, and do it while his child was present too. I work graveyard shift at a hotel, and a few weeks ago, this guy cursed me out when I had to lock up the pool area, using awful language, with his young son right next to him. What these people are teaching their kids.... ☹️ I'm very glad you're ok, and that Charlie was with you.
It unfortunately happens with disrespectful cast members. I’m being harassed and talked down on so that’s why I’m not at work. I unfortunately probably won’t be back at Disney. I’m being harassed also. It’s heart breaking. Just with little disrespectful comments. Happens all the time with every job I’ve had. I’m just done at this point.
It’s just weird I don’t have a problem with the guests I have more of a problem with some of the cast members. Behind the scenes it’s no good it’s pathetically sad and depressing. It would be nice to eat my lunch in peace and quiet but I don’t even get that. 🤷♀️ It’s fine if people are just chatting about their job and how tough it’s been like me and my co worker do but it gets super old when I sit down and here the same conversations… I didn’t get any time off, so and so is this or that. I finally sat down next to a group of cooks and said, “I don’t care” under my breath. People need to come out of denial and work on THEMSELVES and PROBLEM SOLVE instead of bicker and not solve anything. Also my male co worker harassed me all the time. Disney needs to start having seminars on harassment and bullying not on how as cast members we can make them more money. Now they are going to lose a good cast member. I’m kind to the guests (yes I still am new and suck at my job) and help them when they are confused. Walk into Disneyland and see most people not even help just stare and make you feel like crap. I’m just over it. It’s the new Knotts to me. I’m over it. So now I have to go to work pretending to be happy when I’m depressed. 🤷♀️ Disneyland is the last place I want to be. I’m already trying to fight for only 40 hrs a week and they are giving me a ton of hours which I don’t won’t. I’m not a slave to money like 99.9 percent of people who just buy bull crap. I’m over it.
I have more pictures and videos of Disneyland then anything else, I was there with my adult kids and grandkids, we got of a ride and my daughter turned to see if we were, behind her a lady was so close to her, stuck her arms out and shoved her almost knocked her down, my daughter told her off and the lady just keep walking and flipped my daughter off, people are getting rude in the park, I’ve had 3 other bad people experience the last few times I’ve visited, it’s just sad.

Such a weird thing to get upset about when you're supposed to be spending a nice day at Disneyland with your family. I could see getting annoyed if someone filming was getting in the way or being obnoxious but you (and all the Disney youtubers I watch) are totally professional and make sure not to harm anyone's experience.
And even IF he thought they weren’t being professional (and he was wrong), then as Spencer said , walk away, cripes - tell a CM if you feel it’s that egregious. And in front of your kid? Not to mention ruining everyone else who was on the ship’s experiences. When people are *#holes in public, at DL, the airport, wherever, they make a lot of people uncomfortable and I’m sure there were other kids around, too. Blerg.

I had someone walk by and purposely cough in my direction while I was in line for a Covid test. People can be horrible.
There’s also a big issue with people thinking it’s against the law to record things.. if someone is at Disney they already are being recorded by security. Honestly the moment people leave their front door there are cameras everywhere.
I hope that never happens to any live streamer again.
Also you guys are doing an amazing job, you’re sharing the Disney experience with people who can’t be there, that’s a huge deal and we appreciate it!

@@aquariumlife2929 I’m not sure.. in my opinion it would be assault and if they knew they had Covid it would be attempted murder. I think there are cases regarding it but I haven’t researched it.

Ugh I’m so sorry this happened. In 2021 when we went to wdw I was getting on rise of resistance and this family kept passing over the 6 feet markers (this was when everyone was following the guidelines bc nobody was vaccinated yet) so i had a big group with us 6 people. So 3 people were on one marker and 3 people were on the marker behind. Well kids kept touching me, so I said out loud that we had to be on two separate markers bc the group behind us wasn’t following the markers. So instead of the parents correcting their kids and explaining they had to stand on the markers, they told them to come up to me and give me a big hug and then kept saying rude comments. I wish I would’ve told a cast member but I didn’t because I didn’t want to ruin the kids vacation. I’m glad you spoke up to security!!!

When we plan our trips, we always start watching a bunch of the Disney youtubers to catch up on the latest food, merchandise, ride strategies and so much more. First off, let me say…I have been watching you guys for a long time and I have never seen either of you being disrespectful twds anyone. For someone to be like that twds Katie that is extremely scary. And yes, anyone who purposefully coughs on someone, fake or not is assault. If the guy was upset about the livestream, all he has to do is walk away. Even if you were soliciting, he could mind his own business.
