In this aria Aida wishes to escape from their hot Egypt and go and look for a different land.A fresh land with green with flowers where they could live in peace and let their love have a new chance. It's funny because there are translators that say that ardore inospiti refers to heated passion.This is completely ridiculous but I've seen it sometimes translated that way ehich makes the aria loose all its sense. Wonderful singing and acting of this great duet.Bravo for bringing it in Marcia.
