I live in Mainland China, say whatever you want about my government, when this type of situations actually happen the government will deploy all its branches including the military to ensure the general public’s well-being. However your video is truly inspiring, I have a pelican case retired from storing camera gear, I will definitely try some of your ideas, after all one as an individual can only trust the government to a certain degree, better to be prepared in your own house in advance. Have a good day sir and keep the vids coming!

since you brought that up, well good thing im not one of them, I guess what im trying to say is I don't have the power to choose where im born nor im not defending anything, just Looking at the bright side and appericate certain good aspect of my government. The Chinese government handle natrual disasters quite well which is what I have been experiencing so far. You have a good day sir.

    Battalion.
Great kit, the cigs and small booze bottles are definitely a good addition and in high demand when things go south. My kit is extremely similar, though I also have storm proof matches as part of my fire starting items.
One thing I would add that I have in my kit is water purification tablets. People don't always have the ability to boil water.

Great kit. I ended up bartering myself for Aleve during the peak of the pandemic. Had a flooding issue take out my entire supply and with back damage things got uncomfortable fast. Luckily I gave up cannabis about 5 years ago but still had a massive stock pile as well as a large stock of "pipe" tobacco. Didn't take long to realize the local recently unemployed under 30 smoking crowd would trade anything and everything for a bag of weed or tobacco and some papers. I'm still using the supply of Aleve I built up using bartering in 2020. If cannabis is legal around you I highly recommend it for bartering.

I don’t have a dedicated barter stash…yet. I have purchased some lesser quality items over the years like knives and non-Bic lighters etc. I keep the good stuff for me and my family to use. Also to give to close friends and family that may need one in a SHTF situation. One thing I may add to my stash will be batteries. And a battery charger. That way you can charge batteries for yourself ….or charge someone else’s batteries if you have a generator or power source. Just a few batteries not a whole “BATTALION”of batteries. Lol. That’s a real dope knife Frfr. Take care and be safe.

This is probably the best content I have seen to apply to real life emergency/grid down situations. I second the putting some batteries in the barter kit. Oftentimes people will have items that utilize batteries but they don't keep them fresh or have spares. I always keep about 200 batteries in my rotating inventory. Battalion!!

One thing that you mentioned that most folks wouldn't think of is the security of your nuclear football. Someone may want that ENTIRE kit for themselves and would most likely do anything to get it during dire times...not even caring what's inside. Make contact with those in need and ask them what they're looking for. Make a list, work the trade if possible and move on. Great list and as always, great content for when SHTF.

    Dallas Prepper Battalion
Those cases do draw attention, I did entertainment rigging for shows and concerts, and carry my rigging gear in a case like that, bigger one with wheels. Been in some areas where I would have to park away from the event location and walk a couple blocks. Downtown Dallas, Dallas Convention Center, Fair Park, Downtown Portland Oregon and Los Angeles.
Always get people staring at you with that case and you know they are curious what you've got in there.
I grew up in Dallas and Irving but left there when I joined the Army in 84. Went back from 2017 to 2020 doing the entertainment rigging mostly while I was there.
