I always thought Rachel had a really nice voice, but man, when she starts drilling those sustained high notes at the end of this song, its the best she ever sounded in this show in my opinion. She looks like she's tossing every molecule of her body into that second last one. Stunning is correct.

Then 14 years later Beth was 16 got pregnant by Santana and Brits adopted son and I got pregnant with triplets Cory, Dianna, and Drizzle.
The note he hits in the harmony at 2:19 is perfect and definitely not easy. Lea gets all the attention for the power of her ending, but he filled in the sound beautifully there.
He actually did. He has several solos that are absolutely beautiful and moving. Cory did not get enough credit for holding his own with professional singers as a person who never sang before Glee.
I wish they would have done the reunion between these two before his death. I know his death was unexpected & they kept the characters apart for character development. But I think they also spent too much time apart. I would have LOVED to see their wedding.
Agree completely! Even if they had just done it off screen before they did The Quarterback episode. Every season is supposed to/should have ended with them together. Or even in the Beattles episodes when they knew they could have said something about him being in town visiting Rachel. They could have given us some type of endgame happily ever after for them. He never got his happy ending really. 😭

Still pissed even to this day that they didn't even place in Regionals. Lea's vocals were everything. It was one thing that they lost to VA because they were the 'underdogs' but the vocals they showed really couldn't be justified losing overall.

Lea and Cory loved each other so much and they were certainly kindred spirits❤, their love was so great, if he hadn't died they would surely have a family today, I have never seen so much love in my life, and it was seen in their eyes, smiles, and especially the part that thrilled me, whenever they were in the crowd, Cory would hold her hand tightly so as not to be pulled away from him, and she would always embrace him with both arms around his arm as she walked and rest her head on his heart. 😍😊, where is the luck that he is alive, we all miss him so much😔, now they would have a family together😞❤, no one will ever be like the two of them... Hearing rachel sing seeing finn face and remembering he actually passed ( cause I actually forgot sadly) like wow my younger years i miss it and im jus watching this crying and listening and feeling the music and memories of how i felt about a boy hearing this song.
