- SPOILER ALERT
The ending to JumpStart Adventures 3rd Grade: Mystery Mountain. If you have never seen it and don't want it spoiled, please don't watch.
When the player retrieved the final robot Polly sent back in time, she announced that she was going to send Botley back to the time of the big bang for the final, extra credit question on her test. Fortunately, before Botley could be made to go back to the beginning of the universe, Polly's father, Professor Spark, finally showed up. He, along with her teacher Ms. Winkle, made her retake another test; a Latin test (something she was bad at). And that was the end of a great game.
This game and its characters are NOT mine.
They are (c) Knowledge Adventure, Inc.
Special thanks to my brother for helping me record this.
Polly is like Deedee and Dexter fuse together.
Oh my god you...
Alexansu11 There's actually this one time when deedee was dressing as a scientist and she reminded me SO MUCH of polly
(you can see her in the "my hair is on fire" scene)
She's Deexter?
I KNEW SOMEHOW SHE LOOKED FAMILIAR I JUST COULDN'T PUT MY FINGER ON IT......THANK YOU FOR MAKING ME REALIZE THAT AFTER ALL THESE YEARS!!!
She's Dexter and Dee Dee with a little of Angelica Pickles combined into one with the personality of a spoiled know-it-all version of Dee Dee.
Ok I'm 20 now, but back when I was 7-10 I use to play jumpstart and magic school bus plus all this educational games that is so fun. Kids nowadays play cod etc lol, the fun they miss out on. God damn the nostalgic feeling.
TheCricketer15 I know right?! I'm 16 and these were the games I had in my childhood! ...Good times...
I agree. These games where my childhood growing up the 90s.
Botley singlehandedly sparked the aesthetic of my entire creative life by etching his aesthetics into my brain in third grade I can't believe it
there was always something dark about this game. i loved playing it but it alwaysseemed intimadating.
Well, much brighter than the 4th...
I love it how the dad shows respect to the robot while showing his daughter some tired disappointment.
Just like when Princess Morbucks made crime legal.
The ending is so much better than the 4th grade haunted island game. That was a big disappointment. I never could finish the 3rd grade game cause it was pretty difficult. I would so like it if they re released the jumpstart games for tablets like the iPad so kids today could really enjoy these games instead of playing cod.
+TheCrimsonDuelist and the thing is the jump start games are hella fun!
Not to ipad. To PC
Isn't this a PC game?
@@mt_xing Of course
@@GWKTM Yeah that be great if they released the jumpstart series on pc as well like on steam. But for now the only way to play them is on a virtual machine using windows 98 or XP.
I remember I never quite understood why didn't Polly just use the time machine to go back in time and retake the test.
eheheh elaborate storylines...
When I beat the game as a kid, I was glad that Polly got punished. :D
Do you think that Botly should’ve said this to Polly after she said his name wrong? “FOR THE LAST TIME, IT’S BOTLY!!!!”
@@chrispleasantable Once in a while, she did get his name right.
@thano myloans Even if I hadn't watched this video, I'm fully aware of that because I actually finished the game multiple times.
@thano myloans What? Why are you telling me what you know I know?
"You just wait til next time, Snotley!""
And there WAS a next time! It was called, "Jumpstart: Typing." Featuring Botley and Polly.
But in that game, while she does cause another conflict, she’s no longer at odds with Botley.
@@carlossoto1715 Yeah, that kinda sucks. Their rivalry and the fun gameplay in this game is what made it so entertaining.
Best. Game. Ever.
Yeah, especially since only three people do ALL the voices in the game....
Jarrett Smith Botley has the same voice as Tommy Pickles.
+Forrest Dupre Sorry Jeannie Elias
Tommy Pickles was voiced by E.G. Daily, and Botley was voiced by Jeannie Elias, who also voiced Carl in "As Told by Ginger". In my opinion, Botley sounds much, much, MUCH, closer to Carl.
Taking a test that covers Latin as a grade schooler? Talk about a steep punishment, not that she didn't have it coming.
kylezaking Well Polly IS a genius, so she's hardly a 'normal' grade schooler. The only reason she failed her first test in the first place was because she thought purposely giving a wrong answer (when the teacher knows she's smart) would be seen as a joke that would be laughed off and she'd be given an A anyway. However given her reaction about having to take a test on Latin, I'm guessing that area isn't her forte.
@@barraki92reborn Well, one thing's for certain: Latin is the base language of science and medicine along with Greek.
1:51
So basically, Polly was intending to essentially make Botley a god just so she can pass a history test?
Seems Legit.
No, she wanted to send him back to the time of the big bang so that he would be destroyed.
They censured the detailed consequences because this was a children's game
“ME?”
Lol
I remember when I was young, I hated Polly. Now, I remember why.
"I think the universe started with a robot named Botley."
Wait, so Botley is God? XD
Hell yeah, like Tetsuo at the end of Akira (manga and movie).
"Me? But I thought there was...idk....neutral respect developing between us."
@@GWKTM *mutual respect.
@@puterboy2 lmao oh hell no
Jumpstart Typing: Polly locks a coach in a closet. Mischievous, but not insane.
Jumpstart 3rd Grade: Polly messes up time and space. She doesn't deserve to live.
Despite her cheery demeanor, Ms. Winkle is a strict and no-nonsense teacher. This becomes clear by the end of the game.
I like that you can go back to the questions, and see the teacher react the right way to Polly’s answers, basically telling Polly, “Oh goodness no Polly, that’s not what happened”
Dad builds autonomous robot to watch daughter.
Doesn't include subroutines to use a phone.
*facepalm*
PineappleVision i could have sworn he had a phone built into him, may be a false memory, but if he did he totally should have called Professor Spark the first instance of history being altered.
polly: Latin? LATIN? OHH! BUT DADDY!
Botly: Good old professor Spark. Nothing gets by him
Polly: you just wait till next time Snotly
Me: Oh go boil your head miss Sloppy!
Polly: That's Polly to you!
Me: Whatever!
Kang the Conqueror: Oh you wanna see messing with history? OH I’LL SHOW YOU!
3:14
Prof. Spark: Ahem!
Polly: Uh-oh
Jason: BUSTED!!!!!!!!!!!
I know right? I smiled when her dad hear every word she said and said "Busted."
Ah! Thank you so much for posting this. I was playing this game when I was a kid and right when I got to the ending the game crashed and I never got to see the end!
My childhood!! Thanks so much for uploading this :') I remember I drew all the robots on a six pieces of paper and and my mom framed them.
Flushing with the tide: nice idea :)
Flushing with TNT: priceless...
*Memes 8 years later*
Flushing with the tide: small pea brain
Flushing with TNT: *ascended celestial brain*
Polly: "You just wait till next time, Snotley..."
Me: Yeah, right, Polly. Of course, there probably won't be a next time...!
It's botley not snotley that's wasn't very nice thing to say and we'll be waiting pigtails.
This brings back memories... I used to play this, and the Cluefinders when I was homeschooled. I remember how happy I was when Polly got her comeuppance.
I agree even though it's too bad that Mystery ⛰ doesn't have security 📷s to record Polly's comeuppance. The player will see how much shame that she'll experience for a bratty 👩🏻🎓.
The only video game my parents rewarded me for finishing.
I got McDonalds ✌🏼
This game is amazing. 25 robots is like 3 dlcs. I don’t believe you played this game, you are a Polly liar
I loved this as a kid. Memories...
If Botley was required to obey her orders, why didn't she just order him to go along with her plans? Instead, she waits until he's gotten all 25 robots. Dumb bitch.
I used to looove this game when I was a kid! The swedish names for Botley and Polly were Roybot and Clara lol
Yes! I played it too! I uploaded the Swedish ending on my channel! :)
Yes! I played it too! I uploaded the Swedish ending on my channel! :)
I have a finnish version
I loved playing this game as a kid
+AmethystWings You and me both :D
AmethystWings It was amazing.
And the moral of the story: It's today that counts, so make it the best day you can.
Best Jumpstart game.
I know right? When I saw her father behind her, I smiled and said "BUSTED."
Such wonderful nostalgia.
I used to own nearly the whole Jumpstart Adventures series, right from Toddler and Pre-K all the way till 6th grade. Only one I never owned was 4th Grade Haunted Island. But luckily I could borrow it from my primary school library and play it.
My favourites were Second and Third Grade.
Even though I've beaten this game, I still played it again a couple more times just because it was a lot of fun.
Polly: You just wait until next time Snotly
Me: FOR THE LAST TIME, IT’S BOTLY!!!!!!
Only 1 person that didn't like this ending is Polly Spark.
And to think, only three people do every voice in this game....
Jarrett Smithith
Botley has the same voice as Tommy Pickles.
Except that it's not E.G Daily voicing Botley.
"Ok, now that all the robots are home safe, feel free to stay and explore the mountain all you want. But don't count Polly out just yet. She could still show up at any time."
But how could she still appear in the monitors if her dad had already come home? That doesn't make sense
@@oscargabriel6678 Because he presumably grounded her "for life" based on her trying to mess with the fabric of time. In most science fiction, time travel has shown to have a lot of consequences, whether good or ill.
If you continue to play the games after you've finished rescuing robots, Polly shows up in all of them.
@thano myloans Watch the beginning of the game if you don't know.
That next time was in jumpstart typing probably reformed after the events of her latin test
Holy crap I've waited so long for this
Oh my Goodness I have so much for nostalgia for this Game I played it all of the time in the early 2000s
Dude I'd hate to live in ancient times. Even recent history. Sanitation and hygiene were atrocious. "The tide came in, and flushed it all away. Pretty cool, huh?" No, not cool. That means they rinsed poop all over the walls and floor. Gross. Not just gross. DISGUSTING!
Well now that Dreamworks did a Jumpstart How to Train Your Dragon game I personally favorite on my list this ending for all the Dreamworks movies including How To Train Your Dragon, and while we are on the subject of time, Mr. Peabody and Sherman.
Polly Is A Spoiled Bratty Little Girl
Good old Professor Spark. Nothing gets by him
"Nice try Polly, but I think Ms. Winkle might tell a different tale."
How would Ms. Winkle know what Polly did? She wasn't even there!
Punk Nova Prof. Spark told her.
One of my all time favorite computer games ever
If your watching this 2020+ your a legend
Uh-Oh! Polly is in big trouble now
Once, a classmate told me about how a friend to him had completed 110% of the whole game Jumpstart: Third Grade, and did something in the game AFTER he rescued all of the 25 robots, when (according to what Botley talked about in the beginning of the game) the cars come back, the orangutan turns into the ordinary president of the USA again and the Statue of Licorich turns into the Statue of Liberty again. Unfortunately, I don’t remember what that friend of my classmate did to fix those three things, but I remember that my classmate said it ended with that Polly said:
”Yeah yeah, you won this time. But I will be back.”
I cannot find one single RUclips video where you get to see that happen in this game, so I wonder if my classmate was serious when he talked about it, or if he was just imagining.
Does anyone of you who read this comment know about this?
I got this in 1st grade. When I beat it a few months later, I never felt more accomplished. Seeing the professor come in and take back control...it was something awesome. Still love this game.
I used to LOVE this game when I was little! This makes me want to go play it again, even if I AM in 9th grade. lol
Prof. Spark: Ahem!
Polly: uh-oh
Me: BUSTED!
I actually finished this game once, I have so many great memories of playing it!
One of the proudest moments of my childhood was beating this game...not sure if that's sad or not. At any rate, absolutely a fantastic game.
Thanks so much for uploading all of these videos. This brings back so many memories...and Botley sounds like Carl Foutley!!
(Coincidentally, brave, brilliant and beautiful are the three options of a chess engine's playing style on Winboard.)
At least Polly got what she deserved at the end.
Game over, Polly
@multipurpose101
That's because the voice actor for Botley also did Carl on As Told By Ginger!
Jajaj i loved this as a kid, in the spanish version they were Pilar Chirivitas and Latoso
Pili es pilar chiviritas. :3
Am I the only one who shipped Botley and Polly as a kid?
...wat
No
Well, I don't. Not sure if you remember this, but he has a crush on one of the robots. He said so when he heard she was sent back in time. Also, Polly's a kid. And human. Robots don't die, humans do.
Yes. Yes you are...
@thano myloans The same way she sent all the other ones. The time machine.
i remember playing this game when i was in first grade and beating it. i only thing that was hard for me was the biosphere
ahh the good old days
Wow, Polly's dad is a lot less intimidating than I remember.
Polly disliked this.
I love how she conveniently recaps the plot right as her dad walks in.
@jesterisawesome im a freshman in college and if i still had this game i would play it, so no its not weird just nostaligic lol
Changing world history for your own personal amusement is not cool. That's why I made Polly an antagonist in my homemade comics. Clay Patch, a main hero holds a grudge against her for her atrocities.
A fanfic or a comic strip on Web tunes?
@@ShadowHyena101 TBH it's yet to be published.
And you basically need to repeat the same process 27 times to get the ending.
Inspector Gadget References In Jumpstart
Lol I got Brunetta Bombshell last too xD Definately my favourite Jumpstart game, even 10 years later I could just start playing it again.
Definately! The game was even recalled!
Miles The Man why?
10 years later and this is still an awesome game
I’m 33 and I want to play this again. The nostalgia.
played this back in grade school, o the memories
I beat this game. But my dad called me down for dinner before I could see the ending. Before now all I got to see was Polly talk about the Big Bot. I'm glad Botley didn't wind up time-warped into nothing.
There's this creepypasta that has that almost happens called Glitchy Mountain, not all that bad to be honest though.
This was my favorite Jumpstart game I beat it at least 5 times. I refused to go play the 4th grade game because I loved this one too much. God I was lame.
Lol I loved this game and the 4th grade one so much. Did anyone else get a copy of Knowledge Land with their copy? I lost both of my discs so I can't even play it offline :-(
i never beat this game xD
it never saved =/
I cant believe this is the ending they came up with it
I never had the patience nor intelligence to finish this game to ever get halfway here. ftw
now I know how polly felt she reminds me of myself once
This game was seriously one of the best. I can't remember what Jump Start Fourth Grade was, but this one and the 5th grade game were so difficult and so much fun! I wonder if I can find a way to play this on a Mac...anyone know?
also, Some other good games were The Fennels Figure Math, Math Blaster, The Cap'n Crunch game where you got to skateboard and stuff with the crunchlings....oh and don't forget the logical journey of the Zoombinis!!
😂! Nature calls when the 🚽 was invented for the first time on Crete which occurred in 2,000 B.C. whereas Mother Nature did all the work in those days such as flushing the old fashioned way before the silver knobs were invented. The Minoans lived on that small 🏝 that's located off of the coast of Greece back then. 👍🏻 if you used the bathroom in the middle of the game. 🤣
Professor Spark sounds like Jerry Nelson.
2:57- "Snooping as usual, I see..."
I remember playing this game and loving the hell out of it... as well as wanting to punch Polly (Pilar in the spanish version that I played) in the face. Snotty brat, oh my god.
i never could beat this game! man, good times!
POLLY: But, Daddy. I hate Latin.
PROFESSOR: Polly Jennifer Spark, you shouldn't have been playing with my time machine while I was gone. I thought I made it clear that my time machine is off limits to anyone but me.
ME: That ought to teach you a lesson, Polly. NEVER MESS WITH HISTORY!
Note: I hope you guys don't mind, but I thought Jennifer would be a good middle name for the Polly character.
That name has a cute ring to it.
Sounds like you’re becoming Polly’s stepfather. 😂!
Sorry Polly. Looks like you fun time is over. 😝
Andrea Patane more like the strict nanny that has to make sure she doesn’t break the very thin fabric of time
And how come, if she changed history, they all remember the alternate timeline from before she changed it?
Polly looks like Penny from Inspector Gadget G5
2022
Polly is not as kind and intelligent as Penny
Polly is been grounded her life
3:01
Father reminds me of Mandark
ah my favorite game as a kid...i feel like playing this game again now
at robot 23 the game kept messing up and would not allow me to do any further. But now that little empty spot in my childhood soul is now filled.
I hero worship this game... at the age of 18.
This game was the most epic thing ever!!!!!
I wish I could find the re-release ending of this game (advanced)
Do you have the sequel to this game? Jumpstart Adventures Typing?
There is some gameplay uploaded, but sadly no ending
We can't let Brunwella blow up the first toilet...
...that's Taco Bell's job!
