This is an excellent song that shows that people deal with loss in different ways, and there is no one way to handle it. It’s a beacon of hope for people to see that there are ways to survive the pain of loss.

I’m a veteran and lost a very close friend in Afghanistan. There is no “right way” to deal with how that feels. Just gotta do what works for you (long as you aren’t hurting anyone). If driving your buddies truck is how you cope, that’s fine.

Me and my brother were shot in 1984 ! He died in my arms … obviously I survived… This song tears my heart out ! But sometimes we need to let our emotions out

I'm sorry for the loss of your husband. We all have our own stories. People say it gets better with time. It don't. You just learn to deal with it better.

I have a song for you to do. It's T Graham Brown called Wine Into Water. It reminds me of my father whom we lost about 5 years ago. When I was growing up he was a bad alcoholic. A few years before we lost hom he had quit drinking and actually bece a decent in his church before he passed. Itwould mean alotto me and you can share the story

I wouldn't be that upset if Country & Pop died out. Just look at all the award shows & TV shows like AGT/World's Best etc. They get all the praise & the fame & the money, yet half of them don't write their own songs. It's pretty well known by now that in Country & Pop there's a ton of ghostwriting going on & yes some in Metal as well but not nearly as much. Also in Metal not only do they mostly write their own songs but they have to learn insane amounts of instrumental musicianship (Bass guitar, Lead guitar, Drums (double kicks, double bass, etc), Keyboards, Keytars, Piano, Chello, etc etc

I have a friend who does write country music for other artists. Trust me they do get praise and make good money.

@@TomTom-qm4mq I definitely agree with you Tom. I wouldn't like True Country to die out. There are lots of Country singers that sound great and they do write their own songs. I don't care for Pop Country that's sang a lot now days but that's just me.

Johnathan what's the big deal about singers that do or don't write their own songs as long as the songs are enjoyed?!! We can all enjoy different songs and performers without running down others we don't necessarily like.

Not really a fan of Country and truth be told I hate it with a passion. Metal on the other hand give it to me all day and twice on Sunday. Bruce Dickinson (Iron Maiden), James Hetfield (Metallica), Ronnie James Dio (Black Sabbath, Dio, Rainbow), Ozzy Osbourne (Black Sabbath), Dave Mustaine (Megadeth), David Draiman (Disturbed), Joakim Broden (Sabaton), Hansi Kursch (Blind Guardian) Rob Halford (Judas Priest), Dani Filth (Cradle of Filth), Melody Cristea (Liliac), just some of my absolute favorite Metal vocalists.

I'm a metal head myself. I don't know your age. But for me as I got older I learned to appreciate other generas. My music was anthrax,m.o.d.,sacred reich. All I'm saying is give it a chance to appreciate it.

I agree, give other music a chance and listen to the message.
