Happy that you are planning to choose a different style of road trip video this time, while understanding a vlog everyday could generate more revenue than a single vlog for the entire trip.
(You can do both if you wish as well, post the full video of daily activities and then also post a short film kinda video, which you can release taking time.)
What i wish to see is, a travel documentary with voice over and real time sounds, lot of cinematic shots, a good storyline. Something like Ronny and Barty does, not comparing but giving a reference.
As a subscriber the best part about following you were bikes, but now it’s the experiments you do. You inspire to challenge the conventional way of getting things done, you inspire to do something new,fail,learn and succeed.

I've had my share of interaction in comments, and seen plenty of scenarios where they are too egoistic to admit/accept criticism. They make youtube videos only for the bootlickers who bend over for them. There is a reason their views are down 50% and subscriber growth is down 80% (check socialblade).
