Hey Boski - thank you very much for such a nice, relaxed, but to the point and with no nonsense video... Was a pleasure to watch actually. I wish those youngsters would learn from this.... Thanks again! 👍👍👍
So glad I found you guys here on the internet. That was some quality content. Thank you so much ! Hello Mr Dirt Dawn, it's indeed a pleasure to know that you raced the mighty SUZUKI SHOGUN during your days. That's one of my most favorite motorcycles ever. I rode it as a teenager... It was the real street hooligan bike ! Now, I ride a Hero Impulse. I'm doing some research on installing an after market suspension. I use it for trail riding. Please keep riding & posting videos. Thank You ! :)
Hagon in the UK also make a rear shock for the Himalayan, and at a decent price. They build it to your weight and can make it longer if required. I haven't tried one on the Himalayan, but they make good products at a good price. Just another option for owners.
Is there any long travel suspension setup available for interceptor rather than Himalayan or should i try yss Himalayan shock setup for interceptor as long travel suspension setup. Correct me if am wrong.😊
There is no ready long travel suspension for the 650. It would be better to get a Himmer with a YSS which would be more rewarding to the rider on bad roads and when off roading. Cheers!
Hello Bosskey, how is the yss rear suspension holding up w.r.t the test of time and performance. I do mostly touring, will it sdd upto my riding experience. Kindly suggest. Salute!
Hello sir, You have said that while rider is sitting shock is not compressing. But for good control and traction it should compress (180/4) 45 mm from uncompressed height. Have you jacked up the preload to suit you ? As for test rider it is visibly stiffer spring.
The shock does compress some with a progressive action. The springs are stiffer and hence behaves firmly on smooth roads and acts well on rough roads. Overall, the motorcycle with YSS is more planted and stable when posed hard in rough terrain. Cheers!
Hi! The performance is better on tarmac too! The bike is more stable and does not wallow and get unsettled on ripples when leaned over in turns at speeds.
Hi! One way is to add more foam on the seat. This is the cheapest easiest and quickest way. Plus it can be undone if you don’t like it. Ensure that you add a layer of hard foam maintaining the same seat profile.
Oops! I noticed that just now. It was working a few weeks back. May be the Corona virus and the lockdowns have caused a problem for their business. I don’t know. I hope they will resume their business. Regards.
Yes, a more off-road oriented tyre will be better for hardcore off-roading. And for now, prefer to retain the stock dual-purpose CEAT since this motorcycle is used a lot on regular tarmac roads. Cheers!
Zedling suspension made in India makes far better suspension unit for front and rear, tailored for your riding style and weight vs all international brands which are made for a std. rider weight of 70 -80 kgs. when youre YSS blows a seal and starts leaking, you have no service or support here in india either.
@@bigbearbangalore no problem, the zedling also uses a 6082 aluminium body just like the yss, however unlike the yss it has a 2 piston, 3 chamber design that ensures no cavitation (formation of vapour bubbles) which extends service intervals + lifetime support , which includes parts and service for the unit and technical support for setting it up.

What's your opinion on yss for gs310
The GS310 stock suspension is quite good iny opinion.
How do they perform on road? Are they plusher than the stock one’s?
Hi! The performance is better on tarmac too! The bike is more stable and does not wallow and get unsettled on ripples when leaned over in turns at speeds.
Hello sir can you please do a detailed review on Dirt Don's Himalayan , please ?
Hi! Dirt Don has sold his Himalayan a few months ago. Whatever Himalayan you see him on of late, it’s borrowed! 😀
Nice comparo, showing benefits of YSS shocks. Very serene backdrop with lakes and trails, can I know the place ?
Thanks! This is around the Manchinbele dam back waters. Cheers!
is there any way to increase seat height of Himalayan

Sir where can I order the YSS Suspension ?
Hi! you can check with www.speedmottorad.in/

Why no desi company cant make shockers?
That's likely because the market for after-market shocks is too small and the Indian market is super price sensitive. No return on investment.

How is zedling suspension in comparison with yss??
