    Hello Lester,
The Rolling walker is a good idea for Paw Paw. I became ill at 57 and started falling. I used a rolling walker going to Doctors Apt’s and Hospital visits. I could walk a few steps then sit down and rest before taking a few more steps. I didn’t want to use it at first but it has become my life line to move around my house. He may not want to use it at first but over time he will see it will extend his ability to get around in his home.
Thanks to the person who sent that to Paw Paw.❤

Lester- my elderly Mother lives with me and she falls too and uses a walker and I just put in an order to get her one of the roller types…My Mom also has a lift recliner that basically stands her up when she needs to get out of her chair. It’s sad seeing our parents age and physically fall apart-what a thoughtful gift for your Dad. Love the gift and goodies videos!

    Lester,
I've used that pully system when I have gone to PT after I've had surgery on my shoulders & it does help but your to put your back up next to the door not your front, because if you put your front facing the door then your forcing yourself the lean into the door, were as if your back is next to the door your making your back pull up stright & not putting any added pressure on your arms/back & shoulders.
When all else fails go to RUclips & watch how they tell you to do it there, you can't just do it one time, you have to do it like 10 times & then stop & go on to something else & then do it 2 or 3 times a week 10 times each time. You don't want to over do it. Or maybe you could go get some PT one or 2 times & then just do what they teach you at home if you have to pay out of pocket.
Over time if you keep it up & work at it slowly it really does help & it will make your shoulders feel much better.
I've had 3 Rotator Cuff surgeries my right shoulder twice & its no fun, but if you do what they tell you in PT you'll feel so much better. but really turn your chair around & put your BACK to the door.
    Adele

I broke my shoulder in 3 places last year. Part of my rehab at home included a door pulley. You have to slowly build your reach with it, and you will see an improvement. It’s been months and I still do it. Keeps my shoulder moving. I’m 71❤

I am 61 years old and have to use a walker because both knees are broken. I have been waiting for 2.5 months for a call for the first operation of my left knee but the hospital is apparently very busy. I think a rollator is a lifesaver. It allows you to keep moving, which would otherwise be completely impossible.

That shoulder "pullie" is brilliant 👏, my Nanna used to suffer from what's called a frozen shoulder, and my grandad made a pullie system in their garage, using a tennis ball to hold onto attached to rope, that went around a pullie used on building sites. Now this was 40yrs ago, so lovely to see someone has made them to buy.❤

Hi Lester. I have a suggestion. For the bull pen before Chuck comes, maybe if you built an enclosure big enough for your tractor carrying a bale to come inside, then you can enter & close the one gate, then open the gate on the side of the bulls. Protecting you and keeping the bulls from escaping. Maybe. Might work. Good luck with Chuck. He sure is a big boy, lol!

When you do the shoulder work outs, don’t go all the way. Do midway for some time to get you used to it. You can also stand sideways by a wall where you’re far enough away to just touch the wall with your fingers then slowly walk your fingers up the wall. That helps too.

The tenants be able to go back to normal too. So the more you exercise that arm on that sighed with that Poly, which is a very good idea. It will help build everything back up and not shoulder

I really hope your dad gets use to using this wheelie walker. Once my dad stated using his .. the falls stopped. Its light enough to hang on the side of golf cart. They have ones that are made for taller /wider people along with upgraded wheels for outside that moves easier. My dad lived to 93 and the last years of life was fall free unless he didnt or couldnt take his wheelie walker. (Bathroom and times hed forget) its very sad to see our parents age. My dad use to stand strong at 6'2" retired Carpenter. There was nothing my dad couldnt build fix repair in his younger days before his coordinating and balance started lagging.

I have a granddaughter who is now 22. When she was about 5 we had a mouse problem in the barn. I had a mouse bucket and about every other day we would get in the truck and drive the mice about two or three miles away and let them loose in a field. Ashlyn thought that was the most wonderful way to dispose of the mice. She could hardly wait for our mice trips. The thing is iif you remove them about 2 or 3 miles away they cannot find their way back!

We had to get my gran one and she refused to use it until I left it by her and she must’ve tried to move it but yep she started using it, it means if he gets tired on his feet he can put the breaks on and have a seat for a little while, they’re really good ❤

Can you build a 'roof' covered shelf at JL-S for packages like there is at ISS Plum Grove?

The arm that is going up, needs to stay lax, other than holding with your hand. The arm pulling does all the strength, it helps stretch out the bad shoulder. This does work, I have had to do it.

I remember sending you and Jami your first ring light. It was when y'all were doing your lives from your car at the truck stop and were sometimes rushing to beat the sunset. It took you a bit to figure out what it was is why I know it was your first one. Lol

I’ve used that in PT for my shoulder. It helps range of motion.
